I so agree, in order to get the fans excited again, they must start showing more intensity. Their apparent lack of "want to" really demotivated the fan base. They had so much at stake, but just couldn't seem to get up for the last games. That was just pathetic, a huge turn off for the fan base. If they had scrapped to the end and been beaten up they would have more respect. But they just limped to the finish line looking like they could hardly wait for the off season. Major turn off.
The amount of complaining by the fanbase of a 12-4 team who reached the 2nd round of the playoffs is just saddening.
Houston fans are bandwagon fans more than anything. Remember the 2005 Astros World Series Run? Everyone and their mom was suddenly a fan. Astros merchandise flying off the shelves. Same thing with the Texans this year. Ever since they got eliminated by the Patriots, I l haven't seen those stupid little Texan car flags everyone was sporting. Which is good, I cringed every time I saw one because it reminded of what a bandwagon town this is. Where were all these "fans" when the Texans sucked?

i realize i haven't posted much, but raging over a young promising above .500 team and a slightly disappointing 12-4(that got to the second round mind you) is kind of letting your impulses take over don't you think? Just be grateful our city still has both teams, just look at whats happening in Sacramento to all the kings fans. If you want my prediction, in a few weeks, you're gonna wonder why you started this thread in the first place.
