I think this makes it very highly likely that we will be trading our draft pick to get a PF.

    great trade.

    1. james can create his own shot and take minutes away from rafer.

    2. juwon is too unathletic to compete at PF anymore. unless he's wide open for a jumper he's not effective.

    3. this makes causes a logjam in the backcourt. that's good because the odd men out (billy and snyder) make a nice package when you add sura's contract and the #26 pick... oh wait, didn't the kings ask for those guys? ;)

Morey needs to get his GM freak on. He needs to atone for the Battier trade and try to get more value this time around.

Rockets are taking on James's big contract after a bad year. IMO Minny needs to give up their second rounder to make this a fair deal.

James is scoring off the bench. He was expendable to the Bucks when they traded him to the Rockets because Jiri Weslch was doing a better job at running the offense.

Three point guard's isn't too many. It's what other teams have known as depth for a while now.

Rafer's man defense has always been atrocious, but it could be overlooked with JVG's defensive scheme. Now with Adelman putting less of an emphasis on team defense, it's important to have some athletic man-man defenders.

Decent trade. Mainly because James’ trade value most likely will go up, whereas Howard’s can only go down. I wouldn’t count on James staying here for the remainder of his contract though.

I have a question about this because of sheer ignorance. Can this deal be somehow delayed if the finals were to end very quickly with a 4-0 win for the Spurs since the season would end at that point? I haven't heard any trade occuring so late in the season before.
Juwan's value will never be higher and Mike James can provide scoring off the bench to help Rafer out therefore I welcome this deal.

Other than the facts that the Rox are giving away a bigger contract in Howard and that Jiri Welch (1) didn't play for Milwaukee when James was there and (2) barely played any PG ever in the NBA as he was way to slow, which is why he is now with Unicaja Madrid, this post is spot on.

This is a great trade for the Rocks -- i'm shocked this could have happened in Feb though -->

I'm guessing JVG didn't want him -- actually I think this is obvious.

If this goes through, Adelman just got his next Bobby Jackson... very similiar type player.
