I hope this doesn't ruin our chemistry. JHoward was a great veteran on this team, no doubt about that. All we have left is Deke.

Key question - does Mike James pick up the trade kicker or not.

James isn't the cancer everyone declares he is. I don't understand where he got such a bad reputation from. I suppose him waving off T-mac in the Mavericks series was extremely hurtful to his reputation among Rockets fans.

Besides, it's great that we get rid of Juwan Howard, this means we are after a power forward. I can't wait till the offseason, this is going to get very interesting because the Rockets will obviously need someone to play the 4.

Does that mean that the Rockets are officially free of herpes now?

    Technically...we now have 6.

    James
    Alston
    Spanoulis
    Sura
    JLIII
    Head

...Our "PG hole" is so damn ironic XD.

    Thank god its been filled.

LOL, and you base this on what, the basketball IQ test results?

As far as I can tell, the term "basketball IQ" which is often tossed out means that you are either white, european, or have low turnovers. James has low turnovers so I hereby deem him as having a high basketball IQ.

I don't expect much contribution from MJ. A bought-out SF3 can give us more.

You never know, they're still debating on whether or not to add more players to the deal. But at the very least, it's going to be James for Howard for sure.

I didn't mean it like that. I meant JHoward was a very valuable veteran leader in the locker room along with Deke. Now with him missing, there's a void there. Still, I like this trade.

I can't see it ruining chemistry any more than the other 5 million moves we've made the past 4 years...at least we're bringing in someone who actually knows the players...

...and when I say the players I mean T-Mac, Yao and Deke...because they're the only ones left from the last time James was here, only two years ago...

Yeah even if we don't pick up Francis somehow we still have 4 guys. VSpan is more valuable because of his size and the ability to play some minutes at the 2, but that is exactly why I predict that he is gonna be the PG that is gone. Somebody else will think he has value, and we have little use for him as a bit player when we have a huge hole at PF. Please, please, please let Vspan + Sura + Snyder + #26 = Artest. I believe he could be the answer at PF at 6'7" 260lbs. Even if the Rockets do not, he would be a talent upgrade and allow us to move Battier for what they deem to be a suitable PF.

That means we now have Have James, Alston, VSpan and JLIII under contract next season. So who would be the odd man out?

I would obviously love to see Alston hit the road via a trade but could this move add some legitimacy to the Battier, Snyder, VSpan trade for Artest rumer?

So who will be the odd man out?

Will, you cannot be SERIOUS. Those clowns are looking dumber and dumber with each passing day. It's as if some sinister force from the planet dumbass in the galaxy haventgota****ingclue has taken possession of the entire organization. So now they want to correct mistakes? Sorry but that ship sailed 6 years ago who they pissed away their entire draft for Eddie Griffin. Those bozos wouldn't know what to do if the right thing walked up to them wearing a name tag and introduced itself. Encourage them? Ha! The only thing they need encouragement for is for the entire lot of them to commit hari-kari!

rafer, battier, and sura looks like a good combination. or even rafer and sura it self looks good too. i'm hoping we can trade rafer and sign stevie. we can also, see if phoneix is still intrested in john lucas. :p personally, i don't care if we waive him.

So... I'm confused. MJ had a trade kicker... and he was traded? What does this mean, he just gets some extra money?
