It was that lenovo +/- thing. Houston was the best statistically in that regard even though the reality is much different.

It's the second thing that Morey has said based on the numbers that will be taken out of context by Justice, Blinebury, etc. When he said the Rockets were a 60-win team, he was basing it off of numbers when the key players were healthy. When he said this now, he meant off of some efficiency or +/- stat that had the Rockets starting 5 as #1.

I like Morey ... he just needs to be a little more careful probably with these quotables, in my opinion.

I think you do need a new term.

The irony is that MJ went to the team that would give him a kicker because he didn't want to be traded again (besides the ego). But now he wanted to be traded back to the team that he turned down.

It looks like not giving this nutball a kicker was the right thing to do.

But I sure hope he helps us out. Go MJ!

Funny, that was my first thought too. :)

I actually watched him play a couple of times when he was in Boston. He's got a body for a 4, and some decent moves in low post. He was an okay one on one low post defender, in the East. He could score, had an above average midrange jumper, could finish around the rim, both in cuts and fastbreaks. However, with Kidd pushing the ball, everyone can look good.

As a 3, which I didn't see him playing much, but I would say he didn't have the speed and quickness keep up with his man.

The way I see it, Reed is the backup 4 should rox decide to keep him. He can come off the bench to provide some offense when Yao is off, when there is no interior scoring. But he's definetly not a defensive presence in the paint.

Since when did Kidd play in Boston?

I think Reed is 3rd String PF/SF... and come September, another contract to throw in the Bob Sura Salary Luxury Tax Reduction Package that Morey is putting together.

In addition one must give much respect to Coach Adelman for sporting the Tony Soprano look, he appears to have taken down a couple of meatball parms at Satriales at some point prior to the photo.

The first step to a cure is admitting you have a problem. This is a nice first step with you coming out and owning up to the truth. Now if you can admit he was behind the grassy knoll, you will be free. :D

    LOL, funny yetti.

Let's take a journey into the past.

The DISTANT past, you know, all of.......

6 Days ago. It was early June 2007 back then. Memorial Day was fresh in our memories, the Cavs had a shot at the Spurs, Paris was in jail for the first time, america was captivated by Tony Soprano........things were, different, way, way back then:

I hope Morey smart enough to judge the team by results and not just stats. I see Adelman is already changing our statistically talented roster.

James was a nice quick fix and an admission by the team that they made a mistake by trading him. Losing J-ho will also clear a spot for the starting PF the Rockets have been searching for since...

Geez who was our last clear cut NBA caliber PF? Charles Barkley?
