New Orleans going to be tough. Mirotic and Munroe two impactful adds.

LOL at having to send a 2nd rounder on top of having to absorb Asik.

Wouldn't mind having Jameer, I know Daryl was interested before the season but he wanted more PT but he might want the opportunity to play with a contender.

Asik is considered a contract worse than Ryan’s. It does have a 3m guarantee out after next year tho so for arguments sake let’s say they are equal contracts in relation to negativity.

Not only did nop dump asiks deadweight contract, but they also got a pretty dang good player in return.

That’s how valuable 1st rd picks are right now in this market. It dumps a bad contract and gets you a valuable player.

I don’t see morey not being able to move Ryan this offseason if need be

Asik contract not worse than ryno. Half the value and only one year left. It will be a signifant trade asset after this season.

Tony Allen, what happened? Is he that bad? Good deal for the Pelicans, 12 million is a fair deal for a guy like Mirotic.

That's the price for now. In the summer is much harder because even crap teams with capspace like the Bulls will want to go after RFA.
So it should be cheaper if he's traded now and easier. And we won't have to wait for the dumbing grounds to finish their moves.

The Bulls are bad at running a basketball team.

I trust duncd on and real GMs cap nerds who put together a list and ranked asik significantly higher than Ryan, who didn’t show up on the list actually.

Asik has 2 years left. So does Ryan.

Asik cannot play but Ryan can.

There is still an opportunity to escape his contract for 3m after next year, but acquiring him you are getting absolutely no value.

Lulz that he becomes an asset next year. Idk how to respond to that. Even if he was a straight expiring it’s still not very valuable. But still he isn’t a straight expiring.

Bulls are so idiotic - they should have asked for a 2nd, not coughed one up.

I will gladly welcome Allen and Nelson to the Rockets.

Allen doesn't play around, he will make sure that no one is getting too physical with James or Paul. Allen also doesn't care, he has guarded 4's well in the past.

Nelson is pretty close to the perfect back up point guard for the Rockets. Most likely D'Antoni would be fine giving him 10 minutes a night to save Paul and Harden.

LMAO. What are they thinking? Might as well throw in a future 1st if they're in the giving mood.

Pels doing good for once, Mirotic and Monroe will keep them in playoffs, will make AD happy, if they can Resign Boogie, gonna keep Moritic, some good players, like it.

I wonder if a contending team will make a run for Allen. Could see the Warriors doing it, since they have more than enough offense. Allen can still defend well, if I remember right.
