But why can't you show empirical data one more time? I'm feeling bad that you keep running your mouth and can't back it up.
As I said earlier, we can't waste possessions with hack-a-Rocket against a team like the Warriors. DMo is going to have to be the center in those situations. Personally, I think the Rockets need to slow the game down against a team that does what we do but better.
Again, either you get it or you don't. I'm not rehashing this argument with you simply because you failed to follow along. If you want to think that Jones is a great player, by all means, you can think that if you like. It's obvious to anyone paying attention that Terrence Jones is just worthless on the court. If not for Jones, Beasley would be THE worst defensive PF on the Rockets. Jones is just on a different level of bad....and the indications were always there for those who could see them.
I've never thought that. I just know something is greater than nothing. So you can't prove WHY you were "right" despite actual empirical evidence showing he wasn't "worthless". We can leave it at that and you can get the "check mark" by your name for being "right".
Did you not watch him this season? If you can't see that he's a completely worthless player without me spelling it out to you then maybe basketball isn't your game. He has almost no offensive skills, he has no defensive skills. He's not a good player, he never has been. If the "why" matters to you, then you'll understand.
It's ridiculous that in April of 2016 I'm still having to spell out to people that Jones is a bad basketball player. It has been obvious for a REALLY long time now.
This season TJones has been so bad he can't stay on court regardless of health. Was that ever in question or you having a hard time following along? "Good" is subjective. He was a decent player for his first 3 years, particularly his second. Again: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/joneste01.html#advanced::none But you use terms like "worthless" and a "negative" that you can't seem to provide any sort meaningful argument for. I have put forth data that shows he has been "useful" and/or given "something" as opposed as the "negative" you keep trying to spin. Again.... I care about the "why" and don't find it impressive when folks throw crap against the wall and get something that sticks.
You seem to be under the impression that he's been a different player this year than he has been in previous seasons. He's not. Basically this is like having an old dilapidated bridge that has been structurally unsound for years...it doesn't become bad once it finally falls, it was bad all along. Anyway this is a very 2014 type discussion, Terrence Jones has no relevance in a conversation about the NBA, let's move along.
You talk about his "production" but you ignore the "how" and the "why". He's not a different player, he was always fundamentally flawed, you just didn't realize it till now. It's no different than the structurally flawed bridge that collapses, it was always structurally flawed, it was always going to collapse. I do realize at this point that you are a lost cause, but I did my best trying to get you to see the light. The rest is up to you.
Did you ever actually post any proof? I don't want to read the whole thread. "I knew the second he had a career ending injury that he was no good in beginning." This basically, right? Or are you assuming that you had some super natural sense that allowed you to know a perfectly healthy human would get injured? Technical analysis lesson #1 - it's hard to tell the difference between when you're lucky, and when you're smart.
Of course there's no proof, just hand waving. The TJones vs DMo is silly, especially in hindsight of the drop in production of their respective concerning and possibly ongoing/reoccurring injuries. DMo always had the higher ceiling and TJones was a player that could stay on the court earlier on. Hopefully, we will see some of that higher potential in DMo against the Warriors. Best shot offensively against the Warriors is to slow down a little bit and pound the paint.
On the cool Dmoney that dude is a narcissist who refuses to admit he's wrong. He can not provide you any empirical evidence because he has none. Jones has proved him wrong for three straight years. So now the dude isn't working out, this dude is on here pounding his chest, talking about I told you. He also won't admit Dmo is having a pretty bad season too. The man has not been productive. And really why would he be. Some times it takes a full year to really recover. But this joker LOL is on parading about how great a defender he is. Man please! None of our Power Forwards are stout defenders. And Dmoney if you've noticed, Bobby argues with anyone who does not share his chain of thought. And he's against any player that's threat to his best bud Dmo. Beasley has been remarkable for this team and he's on here talking about if he's on the floor, we're going to hurt defensively. Hahaha Man support your team and every player on it. Stop talking one player down and then in the same breathe pumping up your favorite player like you his darn agent.
Lucky is a bad way of explaining it, he wasn't "lucky" but you were seeing him make an uncontested dunk set up entirely by someone else and concluding that he was a good offensive player. You never stopped to ask "why" or "how" he was doing things and that's why you ended up so laughably wrong about him. You saw a flashy block and concluded he was a good defender when it couldn't be further from the truth. Basically you fooled yourself into thinking he was a good player and eventually the truth came out. Don't worry, there were several others fooled as well.
Man, don't be so boring. That is amateur-hour troll material. And it's not even original. You picked this up from others dissing you. Do you really type stuff like that and think to yourself it's going to rile up the other guy? Maybe you aren't as close to unlocking DaDakota apprentice level as I thought.
I'm not trying to rile you up, I'm just explaining why you are always so wrong about just about everything. Honestly you should have accidentally been right about something by now.
Wow...that's sucks, too. Not very good at trolling are you, after all. That quote, "you are always so wrong" followed by "about just about everything" reminds me of this <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pjvQFtlNQ-M" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
