Uh, unless his status has changed, heypartner is a Rockets season ticket holder who freakin' lives in Colorado. I think your post is a trifle misplaced. HeyPee and DD have been arguing for many years. The best thing to do is to either get some popcorn and kick back, or move on.

Dude, that is all you did for a week straight when he was traded! I couldn't click a thread without seeing you crap all over it whining about Morey and Les because you were butt hurt that Dmo got traded. It was non-stop...acting like my 3 year old when he lost his favorite toy.

Let's face it...he had a really solid game and I really hope he builds on it. Tough to do playing 7 minutes as JBB has schizophrenic rotations each night. I hope he keeps playing at that level and that his back stays healthy and doesn't limit him.

But I still don't think it is insulting to trade him for a first rounder post-back surgery.

I cheer for DMo, I just expect more out of him, like a Detroit Pistons first round draft pick.

Hopefully he can provide value for the Rockets in the future by taking up too much capspace in a divisional opponent.

Look, just because I think he is lazy, and is chasing stats for his next contract does not mean I hate him.

Geez, how old are people on here anyway? Hater....you hater...you hater...how ****ing stupid is that?

I expect Howard to play hard every night and when he doesn't I am going to call him out on it...

No hate, just what I see - not hate, it is like having a kid you love that is loafing, and you KNOW he is loafing so you call out to quit it.....get it? Got it? GOOD !

Yes, I was pissed off, because I think the front office has NO CLUE how to build from within, and IMHO, we keep chasing unlikely stars, and have been in limbo since Captain Calculator came on board.

I do realize I screwed up the board, though, my apologies....glad the trade was rescinded as I think having UNIQUE skillsets like DMo's post game makes the entire team better, when something is not working you have a steady 2nd to go to, kind of like how Beasley is doing now.

The more varied you are (GS, SA) the less one dimensional (ROCKETS) the better or closer you are to a championship.

As for me an HP, he is the creepy guy in the corner - not worth talking to when he is off his meds.....and yes, neither am I.

    No meds, just bourbon.

    :)

Every player on this team should be treated equally no matter what they make. And Howard has been pretty consistent , even with the league and it's officials act as if it's hard to officiate him. And just like you give Dmo a pass because of his injury, you should give the same love to Dwight.
Howard is not 100% healthy either.

He gives max effort when he can on most occasions and does great with the stats. But he still hasn't the vaguest idea when it comes to silly fouls and turnovers. And he did cost the Rox a major WCF game by not being able to make the right passes at critical moments. Stuff Dmo and Capela could easily manage even with their inexperience in that instance. That's the upsetting factor about Howard.

You know what I see with Howard a guy that does stupid assed **** after 11 years in the league, he is still hitting people in the head on purpose, still shoving people aside, doesn't rotate on defense to stand in the paint and get his rebounds - and pouts when he doesn't touch the ball.

The difference in what I am saying vs what others are - is they are statisfied with his performance, I am not - I expect him to play harder than he is, and think that since he left SVG who kept a boot in his ass, he has been less than he could be.

Howard is far better than DMo.

    FAR better.

Overall, a championship team needs a 6-10 to 7+ plus guy that can move the ball and make great plays which takes a particular skill set. DMo has somewhat proven to be a guy that can do that without the total reliance on athleticism. That's why there's so much support for Dmo on these forums. He's got a manageable salary at the time being as well while Howard is looking for near $30 million or more a year.

Dmo is looking way better. Him and Beasley will be X factors for us this upcoming playoffs.

Yes - he is, especially when he is motivated to be, he is also a guy in decline, who is losing his athleticism, and seemingly his will to compete night in and night out.

Do you pay 30m for that guy? Man, maybe for 3 years with a team option for the 4th? Seems that Capella will pass him up during that time too.

I dunno, might it be better to make a run at Whiteside?

Every player in the league commits those insanely stupid fouls from time to time. But we all know every team targets Howard because these refs allow them to get very physical with him but he can't return the favor. So of course frustration set in and he results in these silly fouls.

But your boy Dmo commits a **** load stupid fouls too. Shoots every last one of players does. So why are we extremely hard on Dwight. I know you have expectations for Howard but he won't live up to it, especially with the way they officiate him.

White side is pretty arrogant and stubborn as well. If his match up is playing better than him and he feels they aren't suppose to he will get dirty physical. As in flagrant 2 get thrown out of the game and hurt the team kind of plays.

Only on this site or Lithuanian sites do people reject that Beasley has the traits of a prototypical stretch 4. No, on CF and in Lithuania we have to force Beasley into a small forward box - which he definitely would be in the 80s or 90s - because to do otherwise would mean his solid play was a threat to DMo in the eyes of a couple of people on CF and in Lithuania.

New law in Lithuania fines anyone who says Beasley is a 4.

Beasley is a 3 just like Mallett is a starter.
