I do not think he will be a superstar.

An Allstar if he keeps on improving for sure.

I have not heard from Jonas in a while.... since it is Lowry's team and Derozan is a co-Allstar.

So does that make DMo the Y factor?

Maybe his injury is why he can't perform this year like last year, and it has nothing to do with any coach or system...especially since the system is the same.

Do you think that in any way is plausible?

For DMo to succeed, we need to surround him with better teammates and coaches and crappier opponents.

That might backfire if his teammates are too good, though. Like if he signs with GSW,,,yeah, better teammates and coaches and crappier opponents, but he might lose his starting position...and get no play in their small-ball 4th Q offense. I mean, he would never rid himself of this X-Factor label if his teammates are too good.

But he'd get to play 1st 2nd 3rd quarters, and every other 4th, because GSW blown the opposite team by then. And he'd get to be NBA champ.
But I guess you think playing 4 minutes as a starter on a crap team is better?

No excuses, DMo just isn't good this year. He showed flashes last year but he he still can't rebound or defend, and gets manhandled almost every nite. I don't think anybody is holding him back

For once I agree with you. Jonas is a very special talent, and he is also young. You probably wouldn't, but I know I would salivate if Houston got a hold of Jonas haha. Out of all the young players that are 24 or younger I have him in the top 10 or 15. Which makes me wonder. Are you on the Raptors board on realgm? How do you feel about Dwayne Casey?

Both Dmo and Howard started the game off rolling but ww went completely away from that. This was the game for us to dominate the inside game because of our size. I was very disappointed in JBB's rotation. Harden was a no show.

On the kool Dmo should have played 20+ minutes.

Now Dmo only fans here you go again overselling dude again. Now Dwight is the scapegoat, wow. I've done heard it all on this thread. Lol

For dmo to succeed we have to give him the ball in the post that's where he was successful at last year We shoot way too many 3s with average 3 point shooters and where the hell is t jones

With how serious DMo's injury was, I advocate patience. DMo hasn't proven to be the same player he was last year pre-injury, so I don't see why people keep bringing it up. IMO, ppl should leave this thread alone for about 3 weeks. Not enough info to fuel a "debate".

Objectively why did DMO get pulled after just 4 freaking minutes? Looks like he was starting to get it going.

I guess the team really wants to live or die by their 3 point philosophy.

The coaching is atrocious and the PF position is the odd man out with JBB.
