You begging and wishing for the 15th will not bring you the satisfaction that you so ever long for. Be prepared to be disappointed again. hahahahaha
What you are saying is not good for DMo and his agent. There is no way they'd allow a team to force them to take an MRI and say they have a sore back, and tarnish their career value. No player will fake being injury prone. It's a ludicrous conspiracy theory. The player and agent can take that to the Union as a major complaint. Done what in the past? Have a young player fake being injury prone? Please show us that. OK, here you answer one of my questions. You think TJones trade value has been increased by playing last week and this week, and it was necessary to fake a DMo injury to achieve that? I'm CERTAIN (using your ALL-CAPS) that TJone's trade value has not increased in the last week, nor has it decreased. You also must think that Morey does not care about hurting DMo's trade value by continuing the injury-prone news.
I think it will. Jones will be traded on or around that date thus ending the debate and hopefully will help some people that are blinded by bias be able to see things more clearly. It's possible that those people will still be as ridiculous as ever, but I'm an optimist.
Really, did your mighty Dmo play in any playoff's game? So now Dmo can't out rebound shorter players because they're more stronger and more athletic than him. Wow and you're on him bragging about how special he is. Good grief. I stated several times on this freaking board that both Dmo and Jones are very important to this team. We need both of them to play at high levels. But I'm not going to dress either one of them up like they are flawless or like they don't have any wrinkles in their games. And in your deliberation why didn't you dress up Jones's game like you did Dmo? And little dude nobody is trolling or hating. Also, please get out of your feelings on a darn message board. Doesn't make no freaking sense at all to get all personal because doesn't share the same outlook on a players as you do. But yet you want to throw out this childish comment highlight above
I didn't ask you to prove anything. Don't have to prove anything. I'm just asking you, and you answered. You think TJone's trade value has increased since DMo's sore back. I don't. You also think Morey doesn't care about hurting DMo's trade value by making him take a MRI, have DMo go on record saying he has a sore back and perpetuating his injury-prone history in his NBA career.
I think Morey will try to DEVALUE his assets so he can sign them cheaper or chase off suitors, something he has done since day 1. Which is what I believe he is doing here.. DD
By not commenting, you are saying TJone's value has increased since DMo's sore back. Aside from the fact, devaluing a player eliminates your flexibility to trades and Morey always prefers to remain flexible, let's go ahead and entertain this nonsense. So, DMo and his agent agree to this? They agree to allow a GM to say they are injury-prone to the point of DNPs and MRIs and having them say it publically that their sore back returned. You know the Union can fight that, right, if the player objects in their best interest to keep their Free Agent value up on a major free agency year coming off of surgery, no less. Plus, you cannot show a situation where Morey DEVALUEd any of his 1st round picks in their renegotiation year. You will have to name names if that is so common like you say. Hell, I'm not sure you can show Morey devaluing any of his assets. What? Are you going to say Lowry faked his infection? Are you going to say Asik didn't deserve to get sent to the doghouse by the coach, for refusing to come off the bench.
See, this is the problem when you stop being objective about players. You create unrealistic expectations in your head, then when they don't come true, the justification starts teetering into the utterly r****ded zone. These conspiracy theories are ridiculous.
since mid Dec. Rockets played ONE good game!! DMo was already played 20min/game. If DM would be allowed to continue that DMo would be in shape by now, and would play in Starting lineup. No way we would be losing so much games with DMo in shame, instead of TJ thats a fact.
Here is what I think is going on...ZERO evidence, just a gut feeling. I think DMo is fine - that the team is hiding him during trading deadline, by implying he is hurt, so that when they have conversations they simply say..he is hurt, we can't trade a hurt guy, what about Tjo? I think the Rockets want to build with DMo as his skillset is unique in todays game and a mismatch every single night. So, they have him sitting out....for a few more days until Tjo is traded. DD
I think they are just being extra cautious. I'm sure DMo is experiencing soreness, but he would probably be playing limited minutes if we were battling for a good playoff seed.
We aren't "implying he is hurt" we are vocally saying it, DMo is saying his sore back returned, we are DNPing him and made him take an MRI. This is stamping him as a back injury-prone player. "implying" lols. It isn't necessary to sit him out for two weeks to engineer a TJ trade at the Brewer deadline. We just say he isn't available for trade right now. And I see you backtracked from your inane comment that we are also doing this to devalue him in the summer. And know, if we trade TJones, it fits every fan theory out there who predicted a TJ trade. Many, many fans have predicted trading him. So, if the trade happens, it doesn't say anything about your conspiracy theory. They aren't tied together in any way, shape or form.
Brewer is the first pin to drop, you may need to combine their contracts. I agree about whether my theory is correct - just my thoughts, I don't care if it is correct or not, just a feeling I have. Not sure why you give two craps, anyway. DD
DD you're tripping brother, Dmo let along his agent will not allow this not one bit. They're in this business to get paid.
Because I care about DMo's recovery from back surgery. Not sure why you don't care, by calling it all a ruse and fake. I'd be absolutely furious with Morey for forcing DMo to fake this, even if it causes just one loss, not to mention damaging his trade value...all because he doesn't know another way to trade TJ. Can't believe you'd be so nonchalant about a GM forcing someone to fake an injury and keeping him off the floor and getting back into game shape and helping us win. Why would you not be upset with Morey for forcing DMo to not play? I don't get it.
It's very plausible. Assuming Jones is traded around January 15th, there's still half a season left to be played. That's plenty of time for DMo to prove his value for his next contract.
