Yeah, 3 rebounds is kind of weak. He still had more assists and infinitely better shooting % than Harden. If anything, he was one of the better players that game.

That's false. Just because dmo didn't shoot doesn't mean he wasn't posted up. He was posted up and passed out for an open 3 with under 5 minutes left.

When Josh got hurt, the floodgates opened

90 percent of nba players have to go through that experience and yes T Jones went through his. DMo at 7 feet where Jones is not even close to has to go through his puking period in playoffs. What I suggest is a coach that can put together a better game plan offensively and (this game defensively) when playing certain teams. DMo is what he is right now... of course if Jones and/or Dwight plays we win this seasonal game but with it being that way that doesn't fold well for playoffs. Without key players... we should be winning games like this on team execution... we should be more of a well oiled machine. That's how you know what teams are true championship contenders not teams making excuses because certain players aren't on the court. It's still a team game and when playoffs start what you do best and 2nd best will be limited or taken away so at that point you gotta adjust and still find a way to produce, succeed and win. That's where we get stuck. Listen you ain't talking to no rookie. So you can sit here and say I'm whining a bit ching but I've been watching this game too long to sit up here and ignore the obvious with this team. I hope they win and they can win the championship but don't think for one second it's going to happen playing the way they are currently playing with Howard/Jones or without.

Kind of weak? It'd be amazingly bad if it wasn't such a regular occurrence.

Can't criticize anybody if Harden has a bad game. Interesting rule.

DMo played fine last night, but we also missed TJones last night as well. I think that's fair to say.

    Hurry back Dwight!

This team didn't lose because of D-mo's poor rebounding. We lost because of lazy defense. Plus when James Harden has a -27 we are gonna lose. He's been the MVP this year, but he was abysmal yesterday.

Team should have gone to D-mo in the 4th. He was the only thing we had going last night. Nobody on Phoenix can check him and he beasts them on the post every time we play, but that would require McHale notice matchup advantages.

Regular occurence? He's averaging 7.5 rpg per 36. How is getting 3 rebounds in 38 minutes a regular occurence?

D-Mo was a big part of the lazy defense. PnR defense was trash. Wasn't a good showing by D-Mo on that side of the court last night.

Are you unaware of DMo's poor work on the boards this year? We've needed him to rebound well and he hasn't.

Not saying his softness on the glass cost us the game, but 3 rebounds in that many minutes is terrible for a seven footer.

The entire team played poor defense, not just D-mo, although he wasn't on his game defensively no doubt.

Even our defensive stall wort Ariza was playing lazy (although he was probably sick). Combine that with having to play guards at the 4. It was just bad all around.

Dmo has been a big part of the Rox recent inconsistency. The little offense he does give is overshadowed by the other stuff he is not giving (lack of rebounding, no rim protection even though he is 7 feet, bad pick and role defense, etc.) Dmo is not playing big enough for the team and this is going to be a tough stretch now that Jones is out and possibly Smith. Dmo has been way too soft recently.

I'm just telling you the facts. He's averaging 7.5rpg per 36. That's not debatable. Yeah, he had terrible rebounding games, but he also had games where he rebounded really well. He needs consistency, but he hasn't been abysmal all year long.

The team lost because of poor defense by the guards and because Harden played poorly. The only reason we even got back in the game at all was because of a run that was initiated by DMo. We'll be a bit better when we get our defensive anchor Dwight Howard back, but the guards have to play better.

    DMo seemed ok yesterday
    Some improved defensive awareness
he altered a few shots yesterday
we need ALL OUT BIGS to say *F**K A CHARGE" and swat .. . cause we not getting those calls

Yeah, that'll happen when you don't have anyone actively rebounding. When Dwight gets back and DMo goes back to PF I think rebounding problems will be a thing of the past.
