Currently DMo is 6-7 in the NBA in 2P% with 227/404. Those hook shots are pretty good. Sadly, defensively he sometimes has to play now against opponents startin Cs, that puts him in foul trouble. Oh well, he will come up with something (I hope).
Im I the only whos hope after trade deadline McHale put DMo in post more, and become +16 & 7.., I dont know last 5 games o so DMo play awful get in foul trouble, but still got in double figures, with allmost 50% shooting..
Eh no you are not the only one, there have been many posters (yours truly included) who have been complaining about the lack of post up touches from Dmo.
He can easily get to 17 pts if he can shoot jumpers consistently Post plays are nice but they do not generate most points A Marc Gasol has to make midrange Js, long 2s
Seemed like his defense had been slipping so i looked up his Opp FG% at the Rim (nba.com). it's 46.4%. extremely strong numbers. Among PFs and Cs who've averaged > 25 min/game, he is 6th. He seems like a keeper to me - 7 fter who has shooting touch, post moves, and plays promising defense. He's a "project" big man who can contribute now.
The post on the front page is pretty much silly, in my opinion. If all you see in Donuts is a 12 and 6 guy that can't shoot free throws, but then you look at a player like Dragic and see White Jesus, you are mistaken.
Really terrible first half. Finally hits his stride in the 3rd. Makes 3 straight shots for 7 pts. Makes a great stop on defense in between those points. Subbed out of the game to never be seen again. Thanks McHale.
I know that was bizzare he goes 0-5 - missing 3 bunnies then makes 3 in a row including a 3pter and gets yanked.... McHale is just strange. DD
