Can Jones score through double teams on an isolation play(one defender is dpoy Joakim Noah) like that?

He had a slightly herniated disk in his back that was pressing on a nerve. They performed a lumbar microdiscectomy to fix the problem and he's in recovery. So far he's been right on schedule to be good to go by the start of the season but he will most likely miss part of the pre-season just like Dwight Howard did when he had the same procedure done a few years back.

ifyou talk about the one at 2:29 that's not a proper double team.
A post player gets the ball inside and you let him back up his opponent and dribble three times?
Jeez is Mirotic a horrible defender.

    Loved the hookshots.

It's not fair to compare the two players, obviously DMo is the better player. The better comparison is between someone who has a more simple offensive and defensive game like Kenneth Faried.

    WE NEED DMO !!!
The guy can pass, shoot, post, run and finish, play defense, damn he's just a good all around 4 that can stretch the floor. He is pivotal to this team and we freaking need him bad asap, but I want him at full strength.

McHale said that DMo isn't even running yet. I'm not sure, but I think DMo had the same operation that Tiger Woods just had for the second time.

Wow not even running yet. Have they said more or less when he'd be cleared? It's going to take him some time to get into real basketball condition with the physical contact and getting his full speed timing down. The team needs him back ASAP.

He had a lumbar microdiscectomy, the same operation that Dwight Howard had a few years back. He had it earlier in the off-season than Dwight did and Dwight was playing 38 minutes a game to start the season. Now they might take it a bit slower with DMo because hopefully with Dwight, Harden, and Lawson the team should be able to make it for a few games without him at the beginning of the season if necessary, but for all we know he could be ready to go for game one.

They haven't set a timetable, they are basing everything on how he does in rehab. He could be ready to go before the preseason is over, he could be ready for game 1 of the regular season, he could take an extra week or two. There's no way of knowing this early since they aren't basing things on a solid timetable.

Not even running yet is pretty ****ty news if true. In that case we'd be lucky to have him back by Thanksgiving.

If it's true he hasn't even been able to run its going to take some time for sure. He hasn't even run in half a year if what's being reported is true. They may need to figure out a way on how they could add another veteran PF just in case DMOs back has some setbacks.

    SOURCE?
Sounds weird, since he's been already lifting, jumping and shooting. Does running really have bigger impact on your back than these things?

Dude I've been obsessing and horrifying myself about Tiger Woods & D-Mo the last 2 months.

I can't believe I thought he would be back in 5 weeks last year.

    We need Capt Hook.

Relax. So what if he isn't back to start the RS? Let the man recover and have a proper rehab. Back injuries and surgeries are no small thing. Better be 100% by new year fully healthy than come back prematurely and get injured again.
Also for everyone is different the time to come back.

Optimistically, DMo will be able to play into shape off the bench.

D-Mo not running yet is officially the first crappy news of the 2015 Rocket's season.

    :(
