    No

what i'm saying is no team in the western conference can absorb season ending losses to its 3rd and 4th highest minutes players

I find it strange that he could run on a treadmill with a hernia that jammed a nerve in his lower back. I have the same and when it periodically spikes up you can't feel your back or leg at all and it's extremelly painful. You can't even sleep at night.
Also depending on the location of the hernia the surgery - at least for regular people who don't have top notch doctors- involves some danger. That's why it's the last resort.
    Anyway get well DMO. :(

Our PnR defense has been extremely leaky since D-mo went out. It was gonna be hard dealing with having an AARP duo at PG, but combine that with losing our best PnR defender, this may be huge deal moving forward.

I really thought D-mo and Howard were a perfect compliment up front. Jones really needs to step up that D. A lot is gonna be asked of our PF's with Prigs and Terry usually being outmatched.

if he feels dmo is our 3rd best power forward then there is no reasoning with him. d-mo is our 3rd best player and our 2nd best option on offense.

It takes a lot of luck to win a championship, and good health is one of the factors. 30 teams, only one can win.

I thought our main advantage (besides Harden) was a deep frontcourt of Howard/Jones/Dmo/Smith. This hurts far more than Beverly imho.

Do not know how but Lithuanian websites are writing he's out for 3-4 months minimum, so likely he's gonna miss the euro championship as well :(

So are we talking about back surgery here? Like Dwight Howard back surgery? This could affect D-Mo next season as well so this is a really bad development.

I think most rockets fans deep down have lost the dream they had for this season. I'm use to this from past years but this hurts a lot.

Truly crazy. Terrence & Dmo have combined for some extremely poor luck this year.

At least Beverley's injury is explainable.

Big time blow to our team. Why do we have bad luck like this? This bad luck is dated way back to our last championship. Was that trade for Barkley the curse that we can't get rid of.

I have to agree with this. This is when you start to question the expertise of your medical staff. Could they not see what was wrong and just threw caution to the wind and let him run on a treadmill? That could make the injury worse. You have the Spurs with a bunch of old farts all healthy then you have us owning stock in Medline crutch company. Really makes you wonder if our medical staff needs to be vetted

I lost mine at trade deadline.

I wanted to trade for a PG.

Luckily, Capella's value has sky rocketed and we might be able to nab something decent at the night of the draft.

This team is so poorly ran. I was pissed last night when the Spurs were going "Hack a Dorsey" when the Rockets looked like the superior team.

It took all the life out of the Rockets and gave it to the Spurs who never again rendered the lead. Awful coaching on one side, brilliant on the other.
