At this point, there's a wide gap between what DMo thinks he is worth and what the market thinks he's worth. DMo should just take the QO and get his mind fully on basketball. Prove you can stay mostly healthy and contribute and you'll be rewarded handsomely based on your position.

It's obvious that DMo has gotten his contract. He wasn't willing to lose it by getting injured in the Olympics. He missed the Olympics happily. And he missed Harden's mini-camp happily. And he's continuing to be happy missing nearly half of September so far. His agents aren't talking about him, promoting him, not threatening legal action for the botched trade. No teams are reported as pursuing him or even talking to him. It's so obvious what is happening here.

He's got his money. Everything him and his agent team are doing and not doing indicates it. It's a matter of how the trade breaks down. There are several hold ups on the trade(s). But the longer this continues, the more evidently clear other teams have entered into the trade negotiations to up the offer. So, DMo ain't sweating it. He's got his money.

Gotta agree with 'holic on this one regarding you switching sides unless you got haxed teddy bro-sevelt.

It's certainly possible DMo got his money. However, why continue the theatrics past the Olympics? Seems like if you really are that valuable you would let the open market decide your value instead of a wink wink deal. I just don't buy it.

However... I have been wrong before. Totally regret trying the new Mediterranean place down the road.

Well I better see after how much you've been running your mouth. Willingly to risk all your rep?

while it's strange it's absolutely not proof and just a mere indication of a s+t. Also there's no justification for such a long hold up in the offseason for it to be completed. And since ]one would assume more than one team would be involved there would be some leaks from other FOs or at least rumours. Another explanation that makes as much sense is incompetence by his agents (not to leak stuff to journalists, not pressuring the team etc).
And skipping the Olympics if anything is proof that he does NOT have a contract ready and waiting for him.

Have to say I agree with this more than the possibility that he already has his money on the table. Why risk injury until a deal is accepted. This is a holdout, pure and simple.

DMo has an offer from the Rockets, he knows he can always sign that and is probably ok with it - which is why there is no push.

He is trying to get every last nickel by waiting - can't blame him. I still see him signing the QO and betting on himself.

But this speculating and pretend sources of nothingness is sure fun.

You've been saying this for months, and whatever the outcome is, you will claim to have been right all along.

Yep, if you know Hollic put it down on paper, here and now.....no more fake sources......spill the beans - and you can live and die with the results.

    Otherwise you are just clowning.

This. His theatrics are getting old. His response to this will probably be something along the lines of "It won't be old when the light is shone.. just wait."

He might have an offer but it's not signed. We would have known if it was a done deal by now.
