    All I am saying.

It was on the Free Throws and attempts

Chicago attempted 30 and shot 27 for 90%

Rockets attempted 5 and made 3 for 60%

And they got slightly more defensive rebounds.

We like to compare DMo's offense to McHale and Scola....so let's compare 3s:
    • During McHale's first 10 seasons, he shot a grand total of 20 3s.
    • During Scola's five years as a Rocket, he shot 17 3s

They shoot it because our gm loves the idea of a stretch four so he acquired players who will shoot the three, and employs a coach who spends more time staring blankly into space than making adjustments during the game

Yes, but the filter that DEFINES what is a good shot and what ISN'T a good shot is missing on several Rocket players.

    Notably, JSmith, and Ariza.

McHale is improving but I think it isn't all his fault.

Morey's good intentions to constantly wheel and deal also has some negative sides to it.

Bad chemistry, ISO, one way offense, inconsistent Defense, Turrible and Horrible Free Throw Shooting abilities, Inconsistent Long Range Shooting

    Turnovers

Bench Ariza and start Brewer. Simple.

ariza shoots the 3 - 2 seconds into the 24 second clock when the rockets are up with several minutes left in the game. I've seen it a few times. That is a bad shot.

DMo shoots twice less 3's - first two seasons he attempted 3.2 per 27 minutes, and this season 1.6, most of them wide open or late shot clock. In addition he shoots 31.8% from everywhere behind the arc except top key right in the middle.

Smith at the other hand is 15% from behind the arc if we don't count his corner 3's. I would leave him wide open behind the arc any day, Donatas not so much.

i wouldnt mind him being the 1st option...hes more efficent than Harden...particularly when the whistle is silent...

remember that game when we were going to harden down the stretch and struggled, we wer edonw 2 possesion or so witha minute left or so...but then harden was fouled out and mcHale was forced to go to DMO and he miraculously get us back to the game signlehandedly by posting up and hitting FTs... and he won the game for us in overtime....

this is how we should play every game...inside out
    1. go to dmo every single possesion
    2. hes very efficient and he will open thew lanes and things for others
    3. he will feed others, he gladly shares the ball and hes quick to assist to others...

For the most part Donatas shoots 3s as a last resort. Smith has a very poor sense of when to take them. If you're going to shoot 3s, do what Jason Terry does and practice it every day. I'm not sure why Josh brings his "C" skills to the game. He should pass up any shots like Dennis Rodman and not hurt the team (& win championships). If Jason Kidd can learn to shoot 3s in his 30s, I'm sure Smoove can learn also. But, he needs to put in the time in practice!

No accountability for the refs, no accountability for the coach (extended) and no accountability for the players...all hail to Silver, the rich jews, the gamblers, Leslie, Morey, McHale and Stern probably!

Playing against 1 of the best overall teams and 1 with a pretty formidable front line, our PF's give us 37 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and a block and we're blaming them for the loss???
Harden having an atrocious shooting 2nd half (especially for him) and not getting to the free throw line until the final seconds of the game had way more to do with losing that game than anything else.

I thought we played a pretty good game last night except for the final 2-3 minutes. Even with some atrociously bad calls which seemed to be in Chicago's favor all night except for the Brewer-Terry fast break.

Even if you are a career 34% (Like Ariza is)... you SHOOT any open 3's. I'll live by that any time. He shoots some horrible 3's (bad shot selection) but we are talking about wide open 3's. I'll let him shoot that ALL DAY.

its wrong very wrong... you dont shoot if youre out of rhytm and confidence...especially for such a long period...doesnt matter if the look is open or not...(btw hes hardly shooting only open looks hes forcing it 80% of the time)... get to the line, get 2 pointer, pass the ball let the ball move for a while( look how dmo is quickly sharing the ball)...ariza is destroying all of his good work he does on defense by being more than horrible on offense....

If it was possible for a coach or GM to banish Josh Smith from shooting 3's, it would have happened in Atlanta...or with Maurice Cheeks in Detroit.... or with Stan Van Gundy in Detroit...
