DMo's a project. He needs to improve. Then again, it's far too soon to trade him. Redick didn't really play until his 3rd/4th season. He kept on complaining and requesting trades but the Magic just ignored those and stuck to their plan. They wouldn't have kept him for so long otherwise.
I don't like this. I don't like how they're trying to push Motiejunas and Jones into being 3 pt shooters when they're not. Let them shoot 2s if they'll make 'em. DMo just has way too much spazzy energy on the floor. Needs to focus it.
Big men take longer to develop. It's his second year and he has some amazing attributes at his size. Few players if any are complete at his age.
Struggles to rebound, gets bullied in paint by other bigs, lacks rebounding/ defense, bad shooter etc etc Mchale benched him for these reasons
If Motiejunas got this much opportunity as Jones did, I think he would have done a very good job so far in the season. Young guys need to have their coaches trust them, not bench them for the rest of the game after one bad play.
Feel bad for the kid. The only chance he gets is playing in a position we all know he doesn't have the skillset to play. I hope we gets traded and is able to play the 4.
He needs to be there. He doesn't yet belong on an NBA court for more than a few minutes. Hopefully, he develops or the Rockets trade him for a player who's willing to give it his all on offense and defense. No entitlement-syndrome. I hope Greg gets some more burn. Maybe Asik is coming back though...

OK, so it looks like he is staying for the time being. But really, he needs to be in the D-League until he learns to play like a man.
This would be great for him, playing basketball there is better than not playing on the Rockets. He needs time to develop - and that should be priority one. DD
I haven't given up on Dmo. Him wanting minutes to play is nothing to be hated on. Just be motivated, and be ready to contribute to this team. It's good for team, for potential trade.
He needs to stay in the D League for the rest of the season unless he improves. Perhaps a year from now if he keeps developing he can be of use for other than the fourth string center.
You guys were overhyping the crap out of this player, and most of you people didn't even want to draft Terrence Jones, and he ended up being the better player.
