It was a joke based on the wording of the article.

Really love hearing this. Dontas and Morris in the middle of the draft could turn out to be another Morey coup. Morey always seems to make chicken salad out of chicken ***** when it comes to the draft. Very encouraging!

He should have been a top 10 pick. I was surprised to see him go that low. He will be a starter for us in a couple years once Scola is done. He will be a very serviceable pro for us. At least a 15 and 8 guys I believe.

Wow you guys are nutz, sure its nice to see him do well, but lets keep things in perspective. Its the Euro league, there are plenty of players who do well there that wouldn't make it in the NBA. I guess it's nice to see that he has potential, no way he is the ROY next year, 2012 class is loaded with talent.

Yeah but a lot of the major prospects of 2012 (Davis, Drummond, etc) are raw. The most NBA ready players are Harrison Barnes and Jared Sullinger, so D-Mo at the very least has a shot at being named to the all rookie 1st team, if given a significant role.

I wonder how many boards Kevin Love would have in this league

That's IF he can play at this level, don't forget college b-ball is a step above Euro ball. BTW I say this about Valanciunas as well, he was drafted by the Raptors. IMO D-Mo looks better than Val, in terms of fluidity and movement. Val seems to me as though he's a stiff.

What? College ball a step above Euro ball? Are you insane?

The Euroleague is the CONSENSUS 2nd best basketball league in the world. FYI. There is no debating this.

We really need to give Euroball more credit.

I get the OHMSS spam about Euroleague and all that but Euroleague is the second best league in the world. Period.

    They will crush college teams.

Top b-ball "analysts" say this.....I'm just a parrot repeating their "insanity". If Euro ball is so good, why arn't there more players coming out from there?

Wow that's news to me. The top college players who wash out of the NBA end up playing in Europe. Are they worse than they were in college? Doubtful. Euroleague is men -- college hoops are boys. I think you are confusing "Euro ball" as draft picks from Europe? The Euroleague is a professional league. College basketball is amateur. I don't know how much clearer I can make this.

And yes, Euroleague teams would absolutely dismantle top college teams.
