Wow DMo looking good. Hopefully he keeps it up maybe we can take another look at him in the offaeason LOL
This guy wants to get high salary next year, so he plays seriously. I think he will not play good after signing a big contract. His professional manner is not good
Heh... just thought it would be funny if the Rockets were able to and do trade for him. Compared to the original deal, Donatas lose money and Rockets lose trade assets-- lose/lose situation (only the Pelicans benefit).
Nowhere ever has Morey said it was a physical issue, or his back...never. This is why I believe the league stepped in when the Rox and DMo re-worked the deal. I don't believe for 2 seconds he failed the physical - but that the league did not like how DM and BJ circumvented the CBA and slapped em both down. DD
I was scolded in another thread for saying that D-Mo can show ability to "stretch the floor, suggesting he was a "stretch 4". (Which I didnt say he was) Interestingly still ...D-Mo actually attempts 3's in a HIGHER % of this shot attempts than Dirk Nowitzki for his career. No its not done in the same fashion and same shooting % as Dirk. But if Dirk is the standard bearer for outside shooting big men and you're matching his ratio, maybe a slight comparison can be made. (D-Mo is more like a Sam Perkins, Brad Miller than Dirk. Robinson LOL)
I was gone for a month traveling on vacation and I did not log on to CF. Needless to say, I missed my Dmo news and had trouble fapping without it. Can someone please update me on the latest DMo news? Where is he? What is the situation? @J.R. @Os Trigonum
Yeah right. Just wait until DD gonna see this stats: DMo per/100 pos: 18.6/12.0/9.3 in his first 2 games
Sure because Dirk played most of his career in the non-3 point crazy era that started 2-3 years ago and specialized in the long jumper that is now eschewed by many/most.
Its also possible that his back is good enough to play but if they had any concerns about it, maybe its not for today but could it hold up throughout the 82 game season.
People seem to be forgetting that this is much more complicated than what they're trying to portray. He may be healthy RIGHT NOW, but that doesn't mean his back is not a concern in the long or short term for that matter. Remember last year? No? Allow me to refresh your memory. DMo had back surgery and missed the first 20 games of the regular season. He played in the next 14 consecutive games and then what happened? He went out of the lineup again with a back injury! It didn't require surgery, but they decided that he could rehab it and try to strengthen the muscles around the problematic area. What that should tell you is his back still has some red flags. He missed the next 21 games and that is when they tried to trade him to Detroit and we all know they failed his physical. Ultimately he played 37 regular season games last year. Yeah...37. So don't be so quick to proclaim him healthy and physically fit when recent history would suggest that his back problem could potentially flair back up at any moment the more he plays. There is a reason the Brooklyn Nets made every single year of his contract unguaranteed with team options built in. No healthy and skilled 7 footer would sign something as ridiculous as that without a reason.
Grrrr. We went a whole day without a post in this thread, and you gotta bump for the old news. He Signed for 1yr min for NoLa But see if you can refrain from commenting here and use the Dish thread. You'll launch 2-3 more pages with a reply here.
Honestly, I want to see where he is after 10-20 games...but he is doing fairly well 100% on his 3pters, and .714 overall....with surprisingly good rebounding. DD
