I feel bad for T.Jones who finally got out of DMo's shadow this year only to find him back taking his minutes.
Did not see his game but those 4 assists show the big guy is still a good passer. That was the most underrated part of his game.
He had some open looks behind the arc, but didn't get the ball...so many selfish players on that team
Man, we went from having two young promising forwards as trade chips to both of them leaving for NOTHING in return. .
DMo is not comparable Dirk.. How is his game like Dirks? I just can't believe some of these scouting comparisons.... The Dwight and David Robinson comparison is also hilarious.
Not worried about either one. Jones regressed a ton last year and is still injury prone. The way I see it the Pelicans lost Anderson and Gordon for nothing. That hurts them much more. In essence we traded two injury prone players for their two injury prone players and ended up with the better of the deal.
Thats a very optimistic way at looking at it and if that were the deal, Id be extremely happy. Its just the pelicans have nothing to do with the whole thing. They just so happened to be the team that signed them. Im saying it sucks to not have received anything for them, at least a second round draft pick or something.
That's all well and good, but was he still boxing out at super role player levels? That's what I need to know.
Irony here is yes we could. He lost his bird rights when we renounced him so he has no ability to refuse a trade. The only team I believe he can't be member of is the Nets. I doubt the pelicans would do him that dirty though. If he puts up solid numbers and remains healthy I would not be shocked if we made a offer. Les is on record as liking him.
Damn. Can't really say anything. I think Morey screwed up on this if Donuts keeps it up. His style fits great for Houston
