Cavs should pick him up to thank him for his butt sweat.

Nope, not the last one. Look for the [2016-17] D-Mo as a _____ thread in the DISH soon.

    Both parts play harball and
    finally both parts loose
Morey could have offer a little more and get from the start that beatifull 4 year contract with only 1 year guarantee
and Dmo and his stupid agent could have take a little less and dont destroy both reputations and maybe Dmo future.
    Sad end

How was Parsons a mistake? Apart from the Harden trade, not matching the Mavs' offer sheet may have been the single best move of Murray's tenure with the Rockets. He didn't earn that big salary with Dallas and isn't earning the even bigger one with Memphis. Letting Parsons walk was a difficult, brilliant decision.

TJ for all his faults has scored double figures multiple times THIS SEASON and is still in the league getting paid. Only about 450 people in the world right now can say they occupy a NBA roster spot and he is one of them

    For better or for worse.

    Just saying ;)

This tweet by Feigen leads me to believe that the Rockets could have chosen to keep DMo as a RFA but couldn't sign him to the revised deal for some ("Basketball") reason.

DMo's a good player but we're winning without him and this is all a distraction. He'd be sitting on his hands (again, but getting paid) waiting for the summer so we can trade him.

This is the best thing that can happen in this situation.

Wow how annoying. Loved DMo's game and I still think he could've been great under MDA. It just sucks seeing how we invested so much time into the guy to improve his game, workouts with Dream etc and then we just lose him for nothing.

the DD curse is REAL! Beware gawd dammit.

If Clutchfans likes that DMO is gone it probably sucks for the Rockets.

That's exactly what it sounds like. The league said that the reworked contract wasn't going to fly. Either the Rox make him a RFA because he didn't show up for the physical after we matched, or we cut him lose. But no reworked contract.

Just out of curiosity, can an UFA re-sign the team that relinquished his rights? Anyone know?

Curse, lol - he is now an UFA - free to sign with everyone but NJ.....

Looks like DMo comes out the winner here.....if he signs a new contract and gets a fresh start, he clearly had issues with Morey and the Rockets.
