Donald Trump wants to ban ALL Muslims entering the US

As someone who fears what a Trump nomination, what I have been holding on to is that despite Trump leading in all polls consistently, he has not been able to cross much above the 30% threshold. I hope that as candidates start to fall out, a more rational choice will emerge and all the supporters will coalesce behind that candidate.

The problem with this is that nobody seems to want to drop out until the first votes are cast. Right now, Trump leads big in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina and can win all 3. The momentum of those 3 wins will be hard to stop.

In my mind, I think he has a slightly better than 50/50 chance to be the Republican nominee (barring any unforseen incidents).

Clearly, nothing he could possibly say will hurt his chances with primary voters, based on all available data.

The only other person alive who defended him was Rush Limbaugh and that was because he just hates Obama so much that when Obama sent in troops after him he assumed Obama just wanted to kill Christians.

Also somewhat reassuring that at this point in previous primaries Giuliani, Howard Dean, Jesse Jackson, and even Hillary in 2008 were leading their respective nominations.

It is unsettling that Cruz is the 'sane guy' in the wings, but even he, I think (dear god please) will wane. Rubio's been picking up the most endorsements lately. Trump has none of significance. So depending on the fallout from Ohio and New Hampshire, the real race may begin then. Christie or Kasich may be dark horses if they can hang on that long. I'll probably just skip over the next few weeks of coverage. I'm bored of Trump and I cant see much happening for a bit.

I am genuinely interested in the honest thoughts of our Republican leaning clutchians.

 

The benefit is you don't have large Muslim enclaves that are breeding grounds for radicalization. Europe has them all over and can't get rid of them.

In the US, we have Dearborn, MI, and that's it.

 

Not defending anybody, just trying to see how many terrorists aren't Muslim.
