is there any actual analysis available yet that explains the issue? what these two links in the OP seem to limit themselves to is a list of articles/web sites that are simply asserting the fact that Trump issued an EO

I think the reason you may not be getting much success with your bumps is that you are expecting people to go fishing in the two dozen or more links here without any clue what exactly the problem is.

If you can identify a single source and excerpt a synopsis of the impact Trump's actions may or may not have, you'll probably have a higher likelihood of a response.

    Sure here is a link
    https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/5098715-trump-executive-order-biden-prescription-drug-costs/

    And here is an excerpt

Trump rescinded former President Biden’s Executive Order 14087, “Lowering Prescription Drug Costs for Americans.” He included this directive among those he deemed to be “unpopular, inflationary, illegal, and radical practices.”

Biden’s executive order asked the Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary to look into “new health care payment and delivery models that would lower drug costs and promote access to innovative drug therapies for beneficiaries enrolled in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.”

Literally no reason at all for him to do this, none whatsoever.

This is just evil, why not look for the solution BEFORE you rescind it..................he just whacked it because it had Biden`s name on it. Wake up Dems, your so busy walking on eggshells with the public that you let a tyrant in and he`s taking us back to 1965

don't understand the complaint. seems like all he did was get rid of a study that was done but that was never implemented:

While these models were explored, they ultimately were not put into action during the Biden administration.
so how exactly has Trump "raised prescription drug prices"? are they not simply where they have been all along??

Its not a study, its a continuous effort to research lowering drug costs by the Center of Medicaid and Medicare services, they literally have the most information on Medicare and Medicaid throughout the U.S. They do this to enact policy changes on a wide scale.

Just because Biden didnt implement any changes it doesnt mean that were wouldnt be eventual changes made later. This is how you responsibly make changes, you have the highest agency with the most data available research and test methods. There is no reason to cut this order ITS BAD.

So by eliminating this EO, he's essentially keeping costs where they are without any new strategies to lower them. That essentially is raising prices, especially with taking inflation into account.

okay, I get that. But you yourself are here acknowledging that thus far it has remained in the "research" phase (bolded). That does not suggest in anyway the title of the thread: "Trump to raise drug prices"

okay, but again . . . this does not explain the thread title of "Trump to raise drug costs"

which is what I said in my previous post. Trump's getting rid of Biden's study/research simply preserves the status quo ante.

right; but that is very different than "Trump to raise drug costs/prices"

    you haven't shown this

if you want to make an argument about inflation, you should do that. But that would be a radically different thread than one titled "Trump to raise drug costs

I think you have to be a contributing member. Cheapest way to do that is pay a one-month, one-time donation to become "supporting," change the thread title, then cancel your membership (the recurring part).
