If you die of a drug overdose/have a hard drug addiction, you had/have a serious problem. You can say that it is their fault for getting involved with drugs in the first place, but this kid probably got involved with drugs at an age before his brain developed to the point of rationale, or had a serious mental illness to begin with. I guess you don't feel bad when someone who eats red meat 3x a week gets heart disease or cancer, or someone who willingly drives in a downpour dies in a car crash? People knowingly make cost/benefit decisions that risk their lives on a daily basis. People have to/should live with their choices, but I don't really think it makes their deaths less sad.
The fact of the matter is that hundreds of people die every minute on this earth, and 99% of them probably didn't deserve it. Sucks that he had to go like this, but seriously. If you're going to say rip, why not also say it to African baby x, or cancer child y? Or that Indian girl that was Brutally raped, mutilated, and died just a few days ago....where's the thread for hert??
The chick they fought over is Lindsey McKeon. She was in a few seasons of Saved by the Bell the New Class.
Thats so screwed how he got away with murder. His dad was the major fund raiser for the D.A and the case dies the D.A's office. Dont feel sorry for him or his father at all.
So if you have had a problem in life, and you turn to drugs as your outlet, I should feel bad for you because you took a tragedy and made it more tragic? What if he didn't have anything tragic in his life (you know, except for killing another person over a chick -- which he was probably on drugs when he did that anyway) and didn't have any mental health issues? Do I get the go-ahead from you to be apathetic that a hard drug user met an untimely end?
To be fair, he didn't commit murder. The victim did not die....he was just shot in his legs, from behind. Still not cool in any case, and Scott could have and SHOULD have been tried for ATTEMPTED murder.
