The truth is crime stats are always historically used to denigrate a group of people. I've never in the history of humankind seen this tactic ever used for good.

Yes, not sure if I said it in this thread or another but I don't agree with Lemon doing this...to be fair he did it to black people too, so he's at least consistent in that.

I don't think it is relevant or useful to say "This group of people commit _____"

Because criminality in general is VERY low. Basically 1% of any group are criminals. By doing this all you are doing is giving people excuses to stereotype and be racist to any group.

 

ok fact is white people commit far less crimes than blacks but white people's crimes usually involved with lot more casualty. Agree?

 

There are disporportionate numbers regarding violent crime. How do you account for that? Should we not address those communities which may have needs that are unmet, leading to more violence?

You can talk about a community without going "BLACKS COMMIT MORE CRIMES!" again, no one here likes it when people shout out white crime stats so why do you think others like it when you do it to them? I really don't see how it helps, historically, it's always used as an excuse to take away rights from people or to treat them as less than.

Again, I don't see how this kind of language helps anyone.

The context is that you've created several "Black Crime" threads throughout your history here and the only reason you do so is to denigrate black people. That's the only reason people talk about crime stats in regards to any one group, it is to insult and denigrate a group of people.

You don't like when Lemon did it so why should you expect anyone to like when you do it? Treat others how you'd like to be treated. It's not that difficult to ask.
