I work at UT. I nearly hit one every day when I drive to or from work and I have to jump out of the way at least once when I walk to and from the garage to my office. They aren't designed to go up (you'll stall unless you weigh 90 pounds) or down (good luck braking) hills either.

EDIT: Also, East Austin is slowly seeing artisanal grilled cheese food trucks replacing soul food and barbecue. It sucks.

Luckily I haven’t seen a grilled cheese food truck around here. If I did I would shoot it up with my white fragility fueled rage!

I would be interested in what the EX-Military has to do with it, how many of these mass murderers were screwed up by fighting fake wars we are in these days?

I can't think of anything whiter than a grilled cheese food truck. :)

I haven’t looked at the data in a long while but being ex-military is a MAJOR theme with many of the people involved in mass shootings. If I recall correctly ex-military have an very high propensity to violent crime compared to other segments of society.

What's your point? That because it was foreigners doing the murdering that it's somehow a bigger issue than when white people murder?

    So let's get this straight

White person terrorist attack = you better look at back on back crime
Non-white terrorism = oh my god! Bomb the mofos back to kingdom kom!

You are as transparent as thin air.

Yes it was a bigger issue about Al Queida. A larger cause.

The domestic terrorists are lone actors. They are mentally ill. You can do something about Al Queida.

You can do something about mental illness.

I dont worry about domestic terrorism because its a big cause and there only a few murders compared to every day violence. Me as a black man are MUCH more likely to be killed by another black man. These mass shootings are media events. Everyone is desensitized to every day urban violence

I can't do anything about Al Qaeda 5,000 miles away, but I can do something about guns with my vote.

Yes you can but please remember that the most of the same people that have been in office haven't been willing to make any changes to the current laws to curb the ease of getting a gun or checking how one gets there hands on a gun.
