Yeah, I'm glad they kicked Melo to the curb instantly, or it would have done a lot of damage to this season. We got room to grow. Harden and CP3 look inspired again. I hope we get a back up for CP3 or Brandon Knight goes HAM.
Melo was never the issue if anything he helped the defense which went from 7th to 2nd to the last when he left. The issue was Cp3, Melo and Capela spent the summer partying and started the season out of shape. No 20+ games in they finally in shape.
You have any evidence that those 3 guys spent the summer partying? Videos or pics? The offseason is there for those guys to have a beer or two.
The evidence is on the court dude Cp3 wasn't injured how come he was so bad the first 15 games of the season now he is good again? Cp3 is a vet already the only explanation he would play bad is either he was injured or out of shape. Same with Capela he probably partied too much after getting paid. Harden spends the offseason partying he probably spends every night clubbing but he still entered the season in shape.

One of the downsides of Morey's years of flipping so many players is that seemingly every team has at least one ex-Rocket who loves to stick to them.
Kind of amazing that we are only 5 games out of 1st place in the conference. It is going to be a tight race all year.
To this day it is still very true, without Harden's extraordinary play and explosion, those ex players would be a bigger threat no doubt.
Since we lead the SW division wouldn't we be guaranteed a 4 seed? I forgot how that all works and I know it has changed a few times.
