nothing but crazy talk in here...look DD will start the season and he will be playing through pain. he did it last year he'll probably do it again. he's playing a position where only a select few make it past 10 years. football is more mental than physical so we're told. as long as he knows which holes to run through and be in the right position to bail out carr he'll be fine.

If the pain in his knee is preventing him from being his best, I wouldn't count on him necessarily being the opening day starter. Even if he is willing to play through pain, without and cartiledge in the knee (or very little), he can't possibly be as effective as he has in the past.

No, he won't. Being "in the right position to bail out Carr" was his #1 job in Dom Caper's offense. That's not what he's supposed to do in Kubiak's offense.

DD is a good back. May be overrated if you say he's a great back. He's overpaid.

Morency and Lundy both look very competant and Morency actually looks like he may be able to challenge Davis. I want Davis back because I think a Morency and Davis one two punch will yield consistently good yardage and keep one another fresh.

Carr will need both of them to help with the play action passing.

Does Kubiak run the last 5% himself?
