    You shoot that video?

You know? The one using the really dark filter to make Obama look blacker and scarier?

    You are pathetic

Guy goes into a bar in Louisiana where there’s a robot bartender! The robot says, “What will you have?” The guy says, “Whiskey.” The robot brings back his drink and says to the man, “What’s your IQ?” The guy says,” 168.” The robot then proceeds to talk about physics, space exploration and medical technology.

The guy leaves, . . . but he is curious . . . So he goes back into the bar. The robot bartender says, “What will you have?” The guy says, “Whiskey.” Again, the robot brings the man his drink and says, “What’s your IQ?” The guy says, “100.” The robot then starts to talk about Nascar, Budweiser, the Saints and LSU Tigers

The guy leaves, but finds it very interesting, so he thinks he will try it one more time. He goes back into the bar. The robot says, “What will you have?” The guy says, “Whiskey,” and the robot brings him his whiskey. The robot then says, “What’s your IQ?” The guy says, “Uh, about 50.”

The robot leans in real close and says, “SO, . . . you people . . . still happy . . . with Obama?”

There are two ads the Obama campaign needs to cut together right now.

One, where you show a guy who's supposed to be a Romney commercial maker editing out the bits of his speech to hammer the point home that "you didn't build THAT," literally was in reference to roads. (Maybe, at the end, the editor can turn to the camera and his eyes are yellow and you hear the evil Vincent Price laugh like at the end of Thriller.)

The other ad should splice together snippets of Romney saying the exact same things about how teachers, infrastructure, government, etc helped in making small businesses succeed next to Obama saying those things.

Do Republicans really think the American voters are that stupid to fall for this? If you actually listen to the speech it is crystal clear what he meant with those comments. Talk about grasping at straws. This is pathetic.

you can see it in his own words above. he meant either:
    • you didn't build that
    • you were not smart enough, or didn't work hard enough, to build that on your own.

    which is it?

Eh, though this thread is twisting his words more than what he actually intended, I am a bit surprised that people think this was a good speech. Not because I disagree with what he said, but he really didn't do a good job of communicating it, which is strange since he normally does. The Internet and the fire fighting analogies were pretty awful, lol

I don't envy the task of trying to appeal to all classes of people, and this is a perfect example of why. Also, I get what he was trying to say, but I can objectively say, just strictly speech-wise, this was not one of his better examples.

    totally wrong

the Obama camp actually flip flopped in the media over their response to it

it's clear that he wasn't referring to roads and bridges -- otherwise he would have said "build THOSE"

Obama is CLUELESS about business. He has ZERO experience. I honestly believe he truly meant what he said -- he thinks the government is more important.
