That is the thing, my neighborhood is so normal. I live right outside of Meyerland. I mean really who lets their dogs run loose in the front yard?

I have a dachshund and its only happened once. All i did was pick her up and run and after 15 seconds dog was heading back.

But that is if you have a small dog. I don't know how long it would be willing to chase you.

I'd love to see it get a little mano-a-perro time in a room with Mike Vick & the like.

I was kidding. Maybe just carry a cheap taser gun next time.

I have a lab and the same thing happened to me a few times.
One of the neighbors let his dog hang around on the drive way while he was outside and we were walking and the dog started fighting with my dog. Luckily the owner was there so it did not last long but I went back to his house and demanded to see the dogs vaccination certificates which he had..

I told him that if this happens again I would call animal control or the cops.
Next month he put up a gate in the driveway :p

I've had some dog trainers tell me that most dogs don't really fight. They just do artificial bites and bark/growl just to intimidate the other dog. Most of the fighting isn't that vicious.
