eeeeeh. personally, i wish he'd do something to get suspended for one game, even if it's gonna cost us that game because he really needs to stand up for himself and it'll totally get the crowd going
I can't say about the ticky-tack calls on Yao, but -- as I've argued before -- he's getting respect from the refs on offense. In terms of free throw attempts per field goal attempt, he is 5th in the NBA (among the top 50 scorers). Last time I looked at this, he was 3rd, so he's slipped recently (or the refs have, I guess). god i was fuming when i saw that. i find it hard to believe that not one of the announcers saw it. sooooo.... all i can think is when yao gets "veteran status" whatever that means, hell get away with more, assuming he learns to play tough. "thats right! DUMPED on!" - what movie?
