Man, I' am ready to just move on without the guy. The Rockets can be competitive without him as we saw last night. He can sit out a month for all I care but when he comes back he better be ready to play.
Do anyone actually realize that, if it wasn't for T-Mac, then there surely won't be this much drama for Houston Rockets? Think about everyone else on the team, they're not the best players in te league but many of them are consistant and drama free. Remember last season how well the team was together before T-Mac came back? When they started the winning streak? And although T-mac did came back and help with rest streak after Yao got out, but did you see how well the team Chemistry was without T-Mac? You saw how fluid the offense was without T-Mac last night? We didn't beat a ****ty team by 20points, we Beat the Spurs** with all 3 of their starters in the line-up. Honestly, I can see the difference with having T-Mac on the line-up and without. We seem much more entertaining and both defensive and offensive end.
Too bad it's not about entertaining, it's about winning. Yes it's obvious the ball moves better without Tmac on the floor, and yes we played well without him last year, but if you for a second think that this team is better without him, you're a fool. The spurs have routinely been accused of being boring, but they have 4 championships in recent history. It's about the W's, and we acquire far more of them with Tracy on the floor.
You don't question the Houston Rockets medical staff? If a 7-6 big man, who already missed a big chunk of 2 seasons in a roll due to injuries to his foot and leg, complains about continuous soreness to his foot and even asked not to be played much in the all-star game, then you medical staff should take every necessary precautions to keep our players healthy. As a "realistic fan", the Rockets medical staff have failed horribly last season. McGrady's knee condition was ignored by him and the medical staff since he was told to do so. This aggravated his injury. IMO, McGrady is looking for reassurance from other doctors. His knee condition was tended to by the very people who cleared him of any injuries of his knee. He feels continuous soreness and pain in his knee, yet the same medical staff that failed him now told him to just play and get healthy? Maybe this is all psychological, very much like the back doctor (who I think was mainly psychological).
This is one of those odd situations where I don't trust either party. The Rockets team doctors, especially with their handling of the Yao situation last year, have already proven their level of ineptitude. And Tracy's mental fragility is well documented obviously. I don't blame him one bit for seeking a second opinion.
The better the ball movement, the more players feel involve, and you want that. Good better ball movement and getting our players more involve have shown great success so far against elite team like Spur. Yes, we won more games with T-Mac, but against who? Blazers? and Barely Dallas? Lakers and Spur are both teams who we want to beat. So far we lost against the Lakers with him, but beat the Spurs by 20points without him. I really like the team to build stronger chemistry together because I believe we have better chance of competing against Elite teams with our strong chemistry than with T-Mac. There are so many things T-mac do that I belive affect our team in a negative way. I won't even bother to list them all because all, because I'm you would know if you watch the Rockets closely.
Trying to figure out Tracy McGrady is like trying to figure out a woman I'm not going to try to do it. I'm tired.
