Does this team have the highest ratio of dawgs since the 90s?

We were really, really great that year and we should have won it all, you're right. But I think you're overstating the defense a little bit. We were 6th in dRTG that season and that feels about right to me. I don't feel like it was a team full of stoppers the way I do about this team. We had a few really good defensive players and everyone else just playing decent/solid team defense.

Lol facts. And that’s what Sports is—a money making machine for all teams especially in the NBA where revenue is shared equally among owners and where big market teams help smaller teams pay for the remainder of their cap if they can’t afford it. All Owners/Governors vote on measures brought up by NBA committees/Commissioner (expansion, marketing, financial matters) in the best interest of the of the teams. It’s always been about marketing players and the game and getting as much dollars as possible including controlling games and dummies like us just watch and argue about the outcomes (Victor on Spurs).

Having dogs is one thing. Finding enough dogs that love to pull, identifying the lead dog, and getting them all pulling together is the trick. We're still on the training track and not quite yet ready for the Iditarod.

Definitely not, but potentially maybe. Overall they can definitely be top 10 all time, which right now would include:
    - 85-86 Rockets
    - 93-94 Rockets
    - 94-95 Rockets
    - 04-05 Rockets
    - 07-08 Rockets
    - 08-09 Rockets
    - 12-13 Rockets
    - 17-18 Rockets

Naming ones favorite isnt the same as saying what the best Rocket teams have been.
Stating an opinion has nothing to do with revising history. Revisionist history requires mis-stated facts.

I dont like the Harden era teams as much as this one either.
In saying that, I am certainly not saying this team wins as many games as the better Harden era teams.
    Not this year anyway :)

Don't forget Scola! Man I loved that team. Every position we were stacked.

    Brooks/Lowry
    McGrady/Von Wafer?
    Battier/Artest
    Scola/Landry/Hayes
    Yao/Mutombo

Fond memories of that year. What a shame.

I'd argue we'd have beat them even with just Yao healthy. Hell even Mutombo potentially....

Guys like Tari, Dillon, and Fred are exactly the dogs this team needs. My biggest concern is the lack of shooting on the roster. We are only 500 because of Ime, the vets we brought in, and the maturation of Sengun. Our roster has significant deficiencies. Shooting, shooting, shooting. If we cant upgrade our shooting either at the trade deadline or in the offseason, we are really undercutting how good this team can be. It doesn’t take a GM genius to overpay guys to come to a bad team. That’s what happened this offseason. But can we acquire some good shooters around our core? I need to see better roster management from Stone. We’ve got plenty of dogs. We need guys who can shoot the ball.
