...I think we need him back for the depth more than anything. For a team that has struggled with injuries for several years now, it only makes sense that we stockpile talent if we can afford it. I don't think we need to overpay him though and certainly we need to make sure that medically his knee is qualified to hold up over the course of the season - wouldn't want to sign him to a long term deal if a doctor thinks his knee isn't going to last a full season. I think a 2 Mil contract is fair - nothing more than Scola of course. He brings a lot of good things to this team with his dunking, rebounding, hustle, and enthusiasm but all of that is not very valuable if he is on the bench in street clothes or lacking the explosiveness from a soar knee.
