Is it possible that Clutch banned him and now PineFM wants to take revenge or something? It's all getting a bit bizarre, but maybe that is all just to help through the NBA-less summer...
Clutch & to everbody on the BBS, I think this is the best damn site that's out there, BAR NONE!!! Now, w/that said let me get on w/my point. 1. If people don't like the treatment they get or the information that is handed out, you don't have to particpate. 2. I may be a newbe, but everyone here has shown me no disrespect (ofcoarse I don't call out a vet. or the host either) 3. I really enjoy all the info that's given & it's greatly appreciated, no matter if it's right/wrong or in code. It's all about having fun & being a totally committed Rockets Fan!!! 4. Don't get me wrong I enjoy a good flame as much as the next guy, but we all have to remember to respect others & the Golden Rule, (things we all learned in K-G) 5. I may never have as many posts as some of the others, (HeyP, Dr of Dunk, TCP, BGM, ZRB, etc, etc)or the insight like Pops/Doc Rocket. However, I do live & breath Rockets B-Ball & this site is just what the Doctor ordered for me. 6. So lets just step back & enjoy what Clutch (his T&M) has given to us; a great site w/a wealth full of information, be it right/wrong or whatever. I have been following the whole PineFM1960 threads and have made the following observations: - I must say that the guy is quite articulate. - Pine has definitely been following clutchcity.net much longer than June 13th, when he registered - he made several references to how knowledgeable oeilpere is, etc.. - Therefore, I would think that he is either someone who got booted before (maybe this BobRainey character?) or someone who is a regular here on the board. Or both at the same time - having followed some of the regulars' posts on the board since the days of clutchcity.com, I would NOT be surprised if it was actually one of the regulars. - How about some conspiracy theory...what if it is someone that is affiliated with a (formerly) competing site? Clutch, you have certain ways of finding out about the true identity of the posters (I know )...normally, it should not be too hard...do you have any clue where the guy is posting from or anything? I am now getting curious.
No way Pine was Bob Rainey. Pine was as far to the left as Rainey is to the right. No professional troll would switch idealologies just to keep raising hell. Plus, Pine participated in a debate with the latest incarnation of Rainey (joeyclams). He would have been debating himself. What a loser though.
