So far yes. We'll see how the board feel midway, toward the end of regular season, and during the playoff. I'm expecting a jerky yo yo.

I think O'Antoni has backed off some of his "aggressively not playing defense" ways that Jalen Rose tried to expose during the hiring.

Getting Bzdelik was the real move that has made this work imo.

What is up with all that Championship sh*t? Yeah i get it, nothing would be more satisfying to me than a Rockets Championship but seriously: Stop measuring success by winning a championship. Only ONE our of THIRTY teams get's it every year. Is MDA failing when he doesnt get the Championship? A big NO! GSW, Cavs, Clippers and the Spurs all got more talent on their rosters. Enjoy the Basketball we are playing right now and if we win 50+ games im totally happy with the development of the team.
BTW this championship thing is getting out of hands. Since there are many superteams in recent league history u can't measure a player or team by winning the Trophy. You can only critizize players like Durant if he doesn't win it with GSW.

Still too early to call, man. But you HAVE to like what Damn Tony has done with the team so far. He has Harden playing like Magics Johnson right now -- and Clint Capela? Wow what a time to be alive if you're a member of the Capela family. Dude went from zero to one of the better young centers in the NBA, virtually over night. Thank you pringles!

Meanwhile, Thibs and Vogel aren't exactly lighting the world on fire for their respective teams right now. I know these were both the popular choices in the FA coaches market but its looking like we may have dodged a bullet so far. Both =dudes have talented squads but aren't doing very much with that talent yet.

JVG was never going to happen, despite rumors. I see JVG at the bowling alley sometimes, though. VERY cool.

He's been better than I expected. Of course part of my pleasure has been that he's not McHale or JB.

The thing he's really going to help us at if we keep this up is getting UFAs. Racking up stats and winning is hard for UFAs to pass up. We had to overpay to get our 3rd and 4th choices to agree last off season. We have a much better chance of getting our 1 or 2 next time.

too early to give an answer....

I don't think anyone doubted that MDA would be a huge improvement over JB Brewerstaff...

The regular season is shaping up fine... but the playoffs will be the yardstick...

    No championship, no apology

.... or, at least, some Finals and CF appearances

Why? Did we win something? We should probably give it a season or two.

Ya harden signing that extension made all the les and MDA bashing unwarranted.

And turns out Les made the right move.

And signed harden to more money that even tho its only one extra year it's for a lot more money and shows harden we want him here for life because we didn't have to do this.

I don't think we owe him anything. Fan criticism, realistic or not, comes with the job.

    Mike D is a legend.

It's unbelieveable what a real head coach can do. Making everyone look good and making Harden the front runner for MVP

Remember, Nash was just a decent PG with the Mavs. Nash never averaged over 8 assists in a seaon with the Mavs. He was basically Steph Curry, a SG in a PG body. Nash played in his prime with the Mavs. Nash was considered old at PG when he went to the Sun at 30 years old, that's why Cuban didn't even bother to sign him

Then he went to the Suns and Mike D make Nash into an All Time great passing PG , averaging over 11 assists every year when he was considered over the hill at age 31!!

Mike D is now making Harden into one of the greatest player in the History of the NBA.

Now we should all jump on the fire D'Antoni wagon after that 3rd quarter.
