It's amazing some of the things I hear on here. It's amazing how lies are accepted by some people and seen as the ultimate sin by others. Now being a hypocrite is broken into degrees of acceptability. But the good news is there is a simple solution: A) If a liberal is wrong the liberals say it isn't a big deal and the conservatives say it is worse than the holocaust B) If a conservative is wrong the conservatives say it isn't a big deal and the liberals act like it's the ultimate sin
I heard a commentary yesterday that the worst hypocrisy is to not associate with something or someplace because it is full of hypocrites.
Say, T_J, I seem to remember a couple of weeks ago your boasting of consuming "15 units of alcohol" prior to wheeling your "luxury SUV" to Taco Cabana for a bit of late night sustenance. (It dawned on me then why you have long been so anti-rail: you're terrified that you're going to plow into it in a drunken stupor.) STAKES ESCALADED Anyway, yeah, yesterday traffic here in Miami was more or less ground to a halt for a couple of hours as President Bush arrived for an important policy meeting. His solar powered superglider was a little late - unexpected cloud cover - and his hybrid Honda motorcade can barely break 45 mph, so it took a little longer than usual to make it to downtown.
Clayton Williams lost the governorship of Texas when he refused to shake Ann Richards' hand and when he made a joke making light of rape. I think a lot of people make their electoral decisions based on silly things.
