Before JVG, the Rockets missed the playoffs how many years in a row? In JVG's first 2 years, we make the playoffs with two entirely different teams. The 3rd year, we are hit by injuries almost beyond belief, yet the team competes hard in almost every single game anyway. A free pass doesn't have anything to do with it. Not only has JVG done nothing to get himself fired, he's earned another year. Next year he will be under even more intense scrutiny. I won't even comment this time on the "JVG works Tracy too hard" nonsense.
