You can't put a price on the chemistry this team is rolling with right now. That is something that some owners fail to understand. Josh Smith if he is smart will realize this team is where he can finally succeed. Ask people like Lemarcus Aldridge, Dmo, Dirk of how much easier the game is when you have a guy like Dwight helping you in the low post. If les and Morey is smart we won't make the same mistakes we made when we made the trade for Barkley.

    nice

bring him back with the MLE will be a no-brainer. he's the best FA we can sign with the MLE. ppl saying with DMo back Smith will be expendable are stupid, you bring Smith back and trade one of DMo/TJ for equal value at other position so you don't lose any asset (vs you keep DMo/TJ n' let Smith walk for nothing)

i think 2yr. at the MLE with 2nd yr (2016-17) a player's option is fair and make sense for both sides.

He's already getting paid so I'd be shocked if he tries to handtie Morey into improving the team and just take the minimum.

I won't even think about that while we are still in the playoffs.

We were Lucky Duckies to have Smith fall to us for nuthin'. I will never understand what Stan Van was thinking, though JVG said Sunday that when he was 13-22 he had to do something. I think last Summer when we signed Ariza we would have been more thrilled to have signed Josh, thinking he was pretty close to being our third Super Star.

Luck and weirdness really contributed this year, an almost-Star for no money. It's like a bad injury in reverse.
