I agree. But I'm curious who came up with the idea first.

Did they both really agree to the initial terms and Lin "suddenly" decided last minute to try to up the offer in Vegas, like it appears OR is Rileydog's theory of conspiracy by Morey possibly true?

Mike Meltzer is the only guy on 610 that's worth listening to. Everyone else sucks.

Opinions are allowed. Don't hate on someone because they have an opinion you don't like.

I personally believe that any info about Lin hoping he stays with the Knicks is just a response to any backlash he may get, or has already gotten, for requesting that the Rockets up the offer because the Knicks were matching.

Josh has always sucked but your right, ever since the Rockets went to 790 they have really been running them down.

I have always liked 610 but Josh Innes is getting just sad at this point. I don't expect radio hosts to praise our sports teams or anything and I understand that as we stand right now we aren't a good team, but this guy just goes out of his way to find ways to insult the team, the organization, and Daryl Morey. It is to the point where he just sounds petty every time he opens his mouth. It is like the guy who gets dumped by his girlfriend and he just cant handle it so talks bad about her every chance he gets.

Haven't listened to 610 in forever. 790 is where it's at.

That tells you 610 got dumped......Innes schtick is to get you mad, he has
0% loyalty to any of the Houston sports teams....the only team he has any
positive comments about is the Cardinals....what a loser!

I couldn't stop laughing when Frank Caliendo made him and his moron
    dad look stupid!.....It was "CLASSIC".....

It's partially about the money, but there is a huge difference between signing an offer sheet to establish market value and signing a poison pill. If you sign a poison pill, you are clearly burning that bridge. There is no way Lin would sign a virtually unmatchable deal if he didn't want to be in Houston.

I'm in Austin, but this 610 guy sounds vindictive and unreliable.

I still don't understand why you waited a decade to start making terrible thread after terrible thread.

Apparently hoopshype does too, because they're reporting Lin wants NY to actually match the contract. You guys don't understand how bad your favorite GM has made this city look

Lin did tell the Rockets the Knicks were going to match, so he "secretly" flew to Vegas to rework the deal.

    Haha, so true! Repped!

(Who listen to that craptastic station anyways? 790 all the way with others mixed in for variety imo)

Ummm, if he didn't want to come to Houston, he didn't have to sign our offer...
