I'm not sure about Danica, but Kournikova was a great doubles player, she was No. 1 and won 16 doubles titles. She probably should have completely avoided the singles, but unfortunately those bring more money and popularity. She had a great net game, good drop shots and footspeed, but her groundstrokes were too flat and risky for the singles. It's sad when people make jokes about her carrier. She was No. 1 in the world at her specialty, and not many people can say that.
Seriously though, Go Daddy commercials would be a hit in China if it was Lin naked instead of Danica Patrick!
How did Kournikova even become the poster child? I get she got a lot of attention due to her looks, but didn't she also have a really good career? Based on how much people mock her, you would think she couldn't play a lick of tennis.
I don't know, OP has some kind of power, I think. Awhile ago, he was able to post in the suspended Jlin joke thread. I saw 2 posts after him, jenopogi and I forgot who. After a few minutes, his post was gone but the two posts after him were still there. After a few minutes, the Jlin joke thread was gone again....weird.
