We all hope this country will be great and vote the best choice that we believe will help this country achieve that goal. So you should just vote what you believe in.

You want me on that wall, you need me on that wall!

Whatever dude. Just because you are in the military doesn't for a second make you an expert on the Iraq war. You've been fed a line of bull**** from your chain of command and you've bought it hook line and sinker.

You've been back long enough to put a little effort into your decision so don't make up stupid excuses about not having time because you've been in Iraq. If anyone has a vested interest in what happens, it's you.

Not to mention their writing styles are very similar. And by 'styles', I mean poor English. (Or as they/he would call it, 'American')

I considered your proposal but decided against it due to the lack of emphasis and enthusiasm in your statement. Perhaps if you had used 15 exclamation marks instead of the 10, I may have been adequately persuaded.

If you are pissed at the D-bags in BMWs who make over 250k while other families, who you have protected, struggle to send their kids to school to make a better future... Then Obama is your man.

    Here is a giant

what bothers me is the way McCain plays the military fraternity card instead of the American card....... which means if he can not speak out against wars and misusing the troops he is NOT a PATRIOT to America but to the military boys only.

I don't care about idolatry in the forms of flags, I believe in doing the right thing for America, whether it has flags or not.

I especially loved the part about being a soldier as a necessary requirement for understanding the policy behind the war.

due to the sensitive nature of the OP's involvement in the war and his relative lack of education/intelligence, it's really best not to bother getting into a debate over it, IMHO.

Lots of people are\were in the military. It isn't like they are any different than anyone else so I don't understand the point of p***y footing around just because they are military. If anything, I think it is condescending to handle them any differently than anyone else just for this reason. I know I didn't like it when I was serving.

Does it bother you that McCain supported the inadequate spending for VA mental health issues for returning Iraqi veterans?

If military servants don't want to be tied in to politics they should tell their generals to stop endorsing people.

what are you talking about? I simply stated previously that, I haven't paid attention to the election because i was busy with small things in life that you take for granted, EX... stability, you can be with your fam. if you choose.

Being a prior service man as you say you are, you should know what i am talking about right?

mmm.... thinking to myself whether your speaking of the war in iraq or were you in kuwait cause we are talking of 2 totally different wars not even comparable. If you were prior service you know how things in the military can overtake your life. you should know exactly what i am talking about.

If you fit into the catagory and can't even extend your hand to someone who fights for you. If the shoes fits where it.

"Your all wrapped up in your life like your **** don't stink but you can't even take a moment out of your time to think. what if a war happend in my life and my precious BMW was shot to **** or if i had a 8pm curfew... we fight wars to stop that from happening. maybe you would be happy for someone like me who luckily got to come home to his family and you would enjoy the little things in life"

Throwing rage out at a hell of a lot of members here who don't conform to what I quoted above from your post isn't doing you any good and isn't doing our people in Iraq and Afghanistan any good. Yes, that would apply to some folks in this country, but not to me and not to a hell of a lot of others here, from both sides of the political fence. Assuming you aren't making this up, I suggest you take a deep breath and, as I suggested before, do a little research.

OK if you took offense to that my apologies..

I felt like i was being pushed from members on the board for not being intelligent. Looked down upon because of what i do for a living. No i don't like it yes i have alot of regrets but disrespting myself and other service members who lost their lives fighting for these people. I know it does not apply to everyone i have met but I will stand up for the people who cannot.

No one is disrespecting your military service. And just because one serves in the military doesn't mean they can't be stupid. In fact, most people I meet who serve are absolute morons. And if you were being honest with yourself, you'd probably agree. Every person I know in the Navy, Army, and Marines (don't know any AF or NG folk) is dumbfounded at the sheer volume of idiots they have to deal with on a daily basis.

Maybe I missed it...BUT NO ONE KNEW WHAT THE HELL YOU DID FOR A LIVING UNTIL YOU BROUGHT IT UP AND MADE IT AN ISSUE. No one is even talking about it except you. And now I have no idea what your point is except for ranting at everyone else.

You asked an ignorant, flame-baiting question and got called out on it.

On Election Day, you still don't realize that Obama is a Christian. It seems like if anything you would have seen the commercials about his radical former Preacher.

    Obama is not Muslim.

(If he is a terrorist, this plan dwarfs anything I could have ever imagined, unless McCain is a terrorist working for the Vietnamese.)

    Indeed, where?

Every time I park my BMW and stroll through the latest designer boutique, I cry (internally, mind you), "where, where! where is the shoe that fits!" (I am flatfooted and have strangely wide feet.)

    And also, j/k.
