I'm not. I'm nervous as a cat. Just waiting for Virginia to be called. If that goes for Obama, the party is on.
In case you've forgotten, most of us live in Texas, which these days seems intent on wrestling the title of " America's Dumbest State" away from Florida (see - Re: 23% of Texans think Obama is a muslim"). Tsk.
Yeah, but everybody should have already decided if they think he's a muslim or not by now. Waiting until election day to make up your mind about that type of thing just shows a lack of caring.
hey i'm 23 years old and in the military, not currently deployed thank god, My life is consumed with other important things than who is going to be telling me what to do for the next 4 years! not that i have a choice anyways. I am bigger into spending time with my family and little petty stuff you have no idea that you miss when your deployed. So I don't care if you think i am stupid for not knowing, try having your life revolve around the military away from your home and your family.
This election could be especially important for you! It might be the difference between going to Iraq and fight a elective war or staying in the United States!
F*** caring dude you have no idea what i and alot of people have gone through over the past 5 years.... F*** you, The things you take for granted everday are the things i was i had in my life. Until you get our there and DO the **** i have done over the course of 5 years, then you say i don't care... F*** you, you can go fight the war, so you can keep Douchbags like you safe
XBLRocketman111, these are facts (in case you are truly sincere -- not sure of the odds...): 1. Obama is a Christian and there is no evidence that he is in any way a muslim. 1A. If he was a muslim, technically that would not matter in the least, as per this being America. Muslims have fought and died for our country in Iraq, for instance. The greatest icon of this BBS, Hakeem, is a muslim and a proud American Olympian. I could go on and on... 2. Obama has honored our flag, as a photo earlier in this thread shows. There is one famous photo of him not putting his hand on his heart, but there are many similar photos of other politicians, including McCain. Most of us feel these are silly issues. obama, as much as anyone, is an emblem of the American dream at work. Hard work, intelligence, modest beginnings, dignity, respect, and success. I could say many of the same things about McCain. In the end, I like Obama's even-keeled nature, his calm, his intelligence, and his policies much better than McCain's. Palin is also an enormous problem, as she has shown herself to be very, very poorly educated.
Calm down. This war in Iraq has nothing to do with keeping the United States safe. It was an elctive war by the Bush administration to carrry out its own world view and try to control middle east oil supply.
Either way i'm doing it so does it even matter, i let other people dictate what they think the best course of action is.
If we all think this way how do you think this country will be like? This country only works when all of us do our civic duty and vote!
Some of that is true BUT as a civilian you don't know, we are staying in iraq to deter terrorism onto us not OUR home land, Some people tend to forget that we are fighting in iraq and afganistan, because of 9/11 so that will not happen again. Instead we put soldiers in harms way so that doesn't happen again
