THIS ^(Yao's pretty much an automatic)
    .......

The question should be who besides Yao has a chance at making the All-Star Team?

I think if were a top 3 seed in the west this upcoming year, one of either Martin, Brooks or Scola will make the team through coaches vote!

I think, as long as Yao is in pretty good shape, he'll make it.
I also believe Aaron Brooks will make it in as a reserve. In fact, if I recall last year, Kobe had gotten hurt right before the All-Star game and Brooks was one of the choices to replace him...until they copped out and chose Jason Kidd just because he was closer to Dallas.

Remember all detailed statistical analysis must be accompanied by a supporting graph.

I dont get it... if Chinese voting is so influencial to Yao getting voted in, then why dont they just vote for every Rocket thats on the ballot as well? I really dont think those Chinese people make that much of a difference to Yao getting in. When you look at the Western Conference, there arent too many good centers out there to compete with. Gasol? Bynum? please. I would just assume that all the Chinese people would vote in every Rocket along with Yao if they were really voting that often.

    That's a pretty conservative prediction.

Since there are approximately 6.5 billion people in the entire world, you're saying over 90% of the world's population is Chinese? Damn, ain't that something.

How many people know the real population of China without looking it up? This is quite sad. BTW I'm not Chinese.

Let's see how the team gels with Yao in the game. I think Brooks and Martin will be top 3 backcourt in the league, at least offensively. I'm somewhat worried about defense, but having 7'6" back sure as hell helps things.

Its going to be fun watching teams front Yao leaving no shotblocking and Martin not afraid to attack the rim. (F U McGrady)

If Yao plays game the first game, he's an All-Star by default courtesy of China. I think Brooks' numbers will decrease overall, and its tough to beat out Nash, Paul, and Williams. Martin might surprise us all and have the best season of his career. He's never played with a real center and I think he's the perfect fit to benefit from Yao. He might not average 25 PPG, but I bet he'll hit 40 points a few times this year.

I can't wait. Is it really still only July?

Houston's big 3 = Yao, Martin, and Brooks

Yao will start for the ASG. Brooks, and Martin will be reserves.
