Does Houston even WANT the Rockets to make the playoffs?

it's sad. More people go to Denver games. Memphis games. Bulls games. So its not because we're not that good. We have Yao, who draws ALOT of road attendance and Steve Francis who is very exciting to watch when everyone on the team is clicking and on all 8 cylinders. Why is this? Cant be the price on tickets. Alot of the $10 seats are still avaliable. People in Houston just don't seem to have a life of basketball as entertainment.

 

I wonder...

why the Rockets have one of the worst home attendance averages in the league...

could it be because when you do decide to go, it's 1000x more unbearable to watch live... than it is on TV?

look at the positive side of it, if rox dont make the playoffs, then changes next year would be more magnified/justified.... rox may now have the flexibility to shipped out or bring new players in...... coz they underachieved and probably would know by the end of the season what they lacked and hopefully address changes in the roster of players and coaches alike.......
