He needs the weightroom more than any player I have ever seen. Not because he isn't strong, but because he isn't basketball smart, so he needs to get huge and aggressive to compensate. I still believe. We will see how he works in the summer If he is still around.
Yeah, but you were advocating for Joey Dorsey over Hill... Dorsey is even worse. Dorsey has a lower BB IQ, worse BB skills & worse attitude. #Fail
This thread turned out pretty good. GO STACHE! He really is starting to make some real bone headed plays. He is like Joey Dorsey with a Basketball.
Please quit smoking that Cush bro, quit dreaming Hill sucks bro and will not get any better. He has no bball IQ whatsoever and his ass got blocked by the most scrubbiest NBA player in Brian COOK! LOL thats sad.
Hill's biggest problem is he has a very low MOTOR. His lack of motor is what separates him from being a young Amare. He's destined to be Miki Moore/Chris Wilcox w/ Stromile's brain.
He's a sorry damn scrub thats why the Knicks got rid of Him cause he's a dumbass basketball player with no brain. He should play another sport. Im not hating but speaking the truth and this fool is stealing minutes from my boy PATPAT!
He's is definately lacking in basketball IQ but I say we wait a little longer on him. I want to see if he actually works on his game in the summer, if not he's a player that will end up moving around in the NBA just for being 6'10.
is he? don't you think he would be more serviceable now? I'm not sticking up for dorsey or saying we should go after him but we need a big body that plays defense....
Dorsey is a 6-8' WIDE body. We need a long/strong body. 6-11' or above. Dorsey would NEVER play on this team. If we need low post defense he would be behind Chuck and Patterson. If we need offense we would use Scola or Miller. And like I suggest, Hill is better than Dorsey too. Dorsey was waived by Sacramento for a reason. If Reggie Evans didn't get injured, Dorsey would NEVER play for Toronto.
you win just sayin Dorsey has more of an nba body and defensive presence... <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/gYGT1Rb4Q5Y?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/gYGT1Rb4Q5Y?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object> The only reason i brought that thread up was to show that I knew Hill wouldn't be that good; saw it from the beginning.... props
With such fickle fans, is it surprising that someone whose biggest issue is consistency would get lambasted. He's nowhere near as bad as Dorsey, and while we have Chase, even on his worst day, he's not our worst rotation player.
When Chase is hitting shots like he has been the last 2 weeks, Hill is our worst rotation player. Chase is fulfilling his role now. Chase is a spot-up shooter. Hill is NOT fulfilling his role. Hill is a poor defensive rebounder, poor team defender and poor at protecting the paint and rim.
jordan hill is a 2nd year big man whose never really played centre, and honestly, simply isn't one, but he still puts up 9 or so rebounds per 36 mins, which is about what you expect from a power forward being made to play centre. Just being average at one skill, as long as you aren't completely atrocious at everything else (which is Chase, mediocre shooter, terrible at everything else), you're better than him.
Please. Chase is a late 2nd round pick spot-up shooting ROLE PLAYER. Every championship caliber team had one...Jud Buchler, Steve Kerr, Matt Bullard, etc. When Chase is on like he was last year and the last 2 weeks he is fulfilling his role. He was never expected to be Shane on defense or have T-Mac's handle. His two NBA skill's are his shot and leaping ability. His NBA comparison was Brent Barry. On the other hand, Jordan Hill was a fairly high lottery pick. His NBA comparison was Chris Bosh and Amare. #fail. Hill is not good or consistent on offense or defense. 9 rbs per 36 mins means absolutely NOTHING when he also averages 6.5 fouls per 48... http://www.nba.com/statistics/playe...d=Y&yearsExp=-1&sortOrder=3&splitDD=All Teams
