David AndersOn cost us 5 rebounds and 2 loose balls because of his lack of hustle and weakness... blame HIM not Landry... who time after time appears to be the best player on the court... I'm logging off now... lack of basketball iq on behalf of our fans annoys me.

Landry has been super efficient coming off the bench this year. He's really improved a lot over the offseason. He is easily a starter on most teams. He is a MIP candidate IMO...would be more recognized if he started instead of coming off the bench.

You bring no insight what so ever. At least back up your viewpoint with something. Landry scored a bunch of points, but his d hurt us, and he has to do a better job at it.

yea, I agree, the same logic is the hating on brooks. Landry and Brooks were the only two guys that showed up tonight.

At this point...I must agree Landry is better. Something is wrong with scola, he is clearly not himself.

Coach adelman would never bench Scola though. I can tell you that right now. I don't think we are losing too much though, Landry is giving good production with the status quo, so I'm not sure its worth the tradeoff.

Landry outplayed Stoudemire tonight. He got game high 27pts and 9rbs. I think he is our most reliable player now.

Stop driking and posting...its dangerous.....Landry is always hustling....It was Shane that made Richardson look like Kobe jr.....It was scola & chuck getting molested by Amare....Landry was not getting misused in 1 on 1 matchups tonight...and if he did, matching the other huys point is better than the job Chuck and Mr. Intangibles did tonight

Landry should be our number 1 option, he is way too good to be on the bench, if he gets good media hype and all-star consideration he will get much more respect from the refs which will lead to more free throws, because he draws so much contact inside.

He's got potential to be better than boozer.

His offensive talent is all-star potential, but not his basketball IQ and defense.

I actually see him kinda like david west. The more I see him also, he's kinda like amare. Amare before the surgeries was more explosive, but amare now is a better shooter and player. I think if landry started, he would be 17-9 type of guy and he would make it look kinda easy.

As much as I love Luis, the rise of Landry has made Scola expendable.

I'd take Landry over Scola anyday. He has hops, good mid-range jumper, can even hit the 3 ball, rebounds like Scola does, and blocks more shots than Scola.

Rebounds like Scola? So far this season, Scola is averaging about 5 more min/game and grabbing about 3 more rebounds per game.

Blocking shots is generally indicative of weak side defense, and in this aspect, Landry is superior to Scola. However, as an overall defender, Scola is better. He's more physical, positions himself better, and plays with more intelligence.

For all the good that Landry was doing last night, those two fouls on Nash were game changing. They killed our momentum, put Landry on the brink of fouling out (which forced him to play less aggressively on defense), and gave the Suns free points.

Well that's just it. He has played like one so far ... All Stars play like one the entire season (or at least the half of the season leading up to the all star selection). It will be interesting to see if he can continue at this high level ... if so, I'd say the sky is the limit.

    1. You'll eat your words soon with Landry's rebounding numbers. He had more rebounds than Scola in the Suns game, and watch them increase as we move forward in the season.
    2. I don't think you watched the game. Look at everyone voice their anger towards Crawford and the officials. Landry would just breath on the opponent and would be called for the foul. He blocked a shot from behind and was called for the foul. Not fair to accuse him as the one who killed our momentum. It was Ariza, Brooks, and Battier that killed our momentum with either their horrible ball handling, shot selection, or inability to knock down open shots. Landry had a game high, not sure career high. Minus his effort, and it would have been a blowout. Scola is much older than Landry, so I'm not surprised if his numbers decrease.
