Does being attracted to people of a certain race make you a racist?

Personally, I could be and have been attracted to women of all races. A hottie is a hottie to me. Also, you can’t help who you fall in love with either. That **** is not in your hands.

I don't think attraction to any type is racist. Attraction is attraction. What I do think is racist is if a parent tells their kid they can't date or marry anyone outside their own race or religious beliefs.

I will just point out that I also have known a number of people that were racist, but were attracted sexually to people in the group that they were racist against.

I know a number of white women that hold racist beliefs against black people but are with black men... and their attraction at times even play into the sterotypes. A friend of mine is black, and over time it has become obvious that his white wife really dislikes black people..... to say that it causes issues is an understatement.

Also a lot of men fetishize Asian women..... based on sterotypes.....

At the end of the day, we all have "types" that we are attracted to and as long as someone is open minded I don't think it is wrong.

If I see a Hispanic girl that has dated a lot of white men, am I to conclude she hates Hispanic or Black men? No.... of course not.

Having said that, I do know a LOT of women of various races that do not want to date black men... when I ask why, I get some version of them having had terrible experiences.... IDK.

Preferences are one thing and can obviously be influenced by racism, prejudice, etc.

Being gay and therefore not attracted to women is not sexist. Biologically driven stimulation is not a sexist decision.
