Do you like DA's game?

  1. DA sucks and he didn't bring anything to this Rockets team sans heartache.

I agree with you. If he does get traded we probably won't get anyone better
unless it's in a multiple player deal because of the contract that he signed.

NBA is business, but it is harsh out there both for the coach and the players. I feel for DA. The guy didnt really go for the money when he picked Rockets. I believe he really wanted to play well for us. Too bad, things didnt work out for him. Let's lay off his back. The guy played OK and hard while he played.

1 thing for sure...DA has the stinkist shot i have ever seen! 70% of his shots bounces right off the front edge of the rim, not even close! Wesley didn't shoot high % in the begining of the season.. but all his shots were close, like rimmed out or something.. DA's shots r just stink as hell... and he's weak.. he's so weak i bet any player in NBA can beat him up.. :)

You need a third option in your poll, because neither one of the two options accurately characterizes Derek Anderson`s tenure as a Rocket. I think something like this is in order:

Over-all good guy type player with skill, beneficially signed, but injury prone disappointment, again, in living up to expected and needed shooter role

Ditto. He seemed to be gathering steam shortly before he got injured, but I didn't see anything especially impressive. I was inclined to cut him a fairly generous amount of slack, though, given how little he was actually getting paid by the Rockets.

Yeah, he started to play well right before he got hurt. So I don't know what would happened if he stayed healthy.

I like every player who plays for the Rockets. I hate every player who plays for the other team against us on the game day.

He reminds me off Glenn Rice once he got here his knees were shot and his brakes didn't work, DA will only get worse, his best years are 2+ years behind him.

He is WAY past his prime and will not get better...Bogans will.

Anderson would have helped us if he could have. He has nothing left. Like Dakota compared Glen Rice-knees shot-could not defend-no lateral movement.

Rockets were not paying him diddly. Try a young - cheap player, not another Charlie Ward or Rod Strickland ( who could have helped us if he had had anything left).

If we could put Anderson's brain in Stro's body........Well - he would be banned form the NBA for being so good

Didn't like him before he came, didn't like him after he came, and still don't like him.

I think it's interesting to note that according to DA, now two teams have held him out from playing claiming he was injured while he was actually healthy. (Portland and Houston)

It's unfortunate because he was really starting to find his niche coming off the bench. I doubt we'll be able to get anything more than one of those "the Jazz must give the Rockets a 2nd round pick before 2013 and if the pick is not sent by then they must send their 2014 first rounder (lottery protected)" scenarios.
