does anyone know of any good video editing programs for beginners?

    i tried using adobe premier. i can't figure out how to take small clips out of big clips. like i'm trying to make a rockets video and i wanted to use some plays from the rockets-nuggests game i downloaded. but i can't figure out how to take small clips out. can anyone help me?

    You put the clip on the timeline and you can change the in point or out point. Or, you can "razor at edit line" wherever you've got the edit line.

    You can also edit the original clip without putting it in the timeline, but I don't do that, so I couldn't tell you how to do that offhand.

    If you are on a PC, I can't help. But, if you have a Mac, there is NOTHING easier than iMovie. It is not terribly sophisticated, but for simple stuff, it rocks.

    The Windows Movie Maker also works if you're on Windows. Make sure you've got the latest version.... but it isn't nearly as good as iMovie for Mac.

    i usually use windows movie maker, but it cant read the rockets- nuggets game video.

    Use VirtualDub for editing....or TMPGenc...

    which format is the game in? Was it my release? If so, it is Divx5.

    studio 8 by Pinnacle is good and the best seller. $9 or less. Easy to use
