You may have noticed that people start up "appreciation threads" when players give out good performances, like for Von Wafer, Brooks, etc. My advice is to wait until McGrady actually does something worthy of a thread before posting up some kind of hero worship post.

Why don't you start up a "Does anyone here still believe in Luther?" thread while you're at it?

I think your missing the point. Maybe your just stupid, I dont know. I am trying to find posters who are honest McGrady fans and still think he's going to emerge from this slump. This isn't an "appreciation" thread for a games performance.

If you don't like the guy thats fine, go post in one of those threads. And your advice means piss to me.

So, let me ask you an honest question, are you a Rocket's fan or a Tmac fan?

If the Rockets decided to trade Tmac would you still be a fan?

Is it really a slump if he's not even playing?

I've got an alternate title for your thread: "Screw the team, McGrady fanbois unite".

I have a friend who is convinced that tmac is the BEST player in the world. He thinks he is the greatest of alltime and yes even better than MJ. and the sad part is that he is serious

What happens if the team trades him, would you still follow the Rockets?

Say Tmac is in Chicago.....and they are playing the Rockets whom would you root for, Tmac or the Rockets?

Call it what you will. You have made it abundantly clear that you are not a fan of McGrady's and that is fine. I'm still trying to grasp why your posting in this thread?

Every single day. Like I said in my OP, I was born and raised in Houston. I've been a fan since I was old enough to understand this game. The Rockets are my favorite team. Why I am being criticized for hoping a player I like will come back from whatever it is he's in right now is beyond me.

I'm still trying to grasp why you made this thread in the first place. If you don't want to open it up to public commentary maybe you should have gone to T-Mac's web site and started it there, assuming it has a forum?

You make a thread here don't whine if people post stuff that you don't like. This isn't your private fan club.

Who said I was criticizing you, I am just asking you a question. I can respect your position on Tmac, I hope he comes back too.

Tmac was always my favorite rocket..I defended him all the time, but there is no way I could after seeing his quit in toronto...

Tmac was like a friend that sat in the car, and watch you get your azz jumped by 5 other dudes outside the club. While you were getting kicked in the head and yelling "HELP", he was just sitting there playing Solitaire on his cell-phone in the car watching you and shaking his head

I agree about the Toronto game. That was tough to swallow. I still hope he comes back though and redeems himself. Truthfully, nobody knows whats goin on inside that head of his.

Therein lies the problem, can the rest of the guys ever trust him again? I hope so, but the guy is apparently fairly aloof and not that popular with his teamates.
